IS THERE NOTHING WORSE THAN WHEN YOU GO TO BE EARLY AND WAKE UP AN HOUR LATER AND THEN CAN'T SLEEP AGAIN?

I actually went to bed before 12, for the first time in WEEKS and I woke up at half 1. I havent been able to sleep since and I'm wide awake and I need to be up in 4 hours

I blame Tom for making me stub my toe earlier

..what about the lady though and the gorilla and her face, would that be worse do you think..?...

..but yeah, I feel your pain Caitlin...it's that pressure really of knowing you have to sleep because you have to be awake early so that's what stops you from sleeping/cruel ironies....

I sleep on average 4 hours max. I've kinda got used to it, so I don't feel that pain. I used to hate not getting enough sleep during school days though.

Lmao you have a point. I'm just being dramatic as per.

Yeah exactly! It's so much worse cause you're naming yourself worry about how much time you have left and it gets less and less and oh it's just awful

I'm exactly the same. I wake up every hour for a few minutes but I can never sleep longer than 4/5 hours. I don't remember the last time I got more than 6 hours sleep on a night.

Have you been to sleep yet Leon?

..yeah, probably me as well Leon/around 4 hours-ish and I've also got used to it through the years but you're right, you feel it more on school/working days than you do on weekend days etc...

...yeah it's that thing where you're thinking..right, I'll sleep now/this minute and then I'll have 3 hours rest and that'll be enough, we're all good here...and then get frustrated when it doesn't happen when what we're really doing is saying..PERFORM NOW.../which only makes it worse and less likely...we need to do some reverse psychology and think..no I don't want to sleep, I'm going to do an all nighter here and then we'll probably sleep...

It's definitely annoying that and also those nights where you tend to wake up every bloody hour :fist:

I had a cold all weekend and a sore throat, so I was waking up every hour or so. It was annoying! It didn't help that I kept getting text messages from my friends because I had to leave a party early... Worst weekend ever!

Here's what you do next time Caitlyn:

Switch on your laptop.
Sign into Tibb.

And read all of T.S's posts.

You'll either fall asleep through boredom, or through sheer tiredness from laughing. :hehe:

Footnote: To my 'Little Brother T.S.

One back for the 'Boring Old Fart' jokes.

My wife does my head in. She has to rise at 7.am so puts her alarm on for 6.am to go off repeatedly every 10 minutes. She just reaches out and stops it every 10 minutes WITHOUT opening her eyes, and finally gets up at 7 am!

This illogical ritual has gone on for years - despite the fact that I am ALWAYS awake before her silly alarm goes off anyway and she doesn't need to set the damn thing at all.
