I can see this being bad for Jade...for about a week. Then she will get back into selling magazines and continue earning loads of money. All publicity is good publicity and Jade will be laughing once again sadly. We shall see how long people are up in arms as to how many magazine covers she is on and if she continues to do as well as first time around.

You overestimate the asbo and chav generations attention span, and the greed of media moneymen [and women]

Give it a couple of months at most , probably a couple weeks - then the contrition stories will start appearing.

If it looks like that won't do it, couple the contrition stories, with "heartfelt" apologies couched in the language of she didn't know what she was doing, and btw her dads black so she understands racism and would never knowingly do that, and just to seal the deal, she'll be knocked up again by summer

Jade during her first stint in the BB house way back in BB3 was at one point completely hated by the public for her bullying of housemates and in particular her treatment of Sophie. There were a few weeks in BB3 where Jade was on the front cover of all the tabloids with headlines about Miss Piggy and just simply how vile she was. There was a massive public outcry over her behaviour, and calls for her to be removed from the house.

But she managed to turn it round. She actually turned it round so well, she made it to the final night :bored: And of course since then she has become massively popular, and rich and was one of the favourite BB HMs of all time.

Now this time, the public outcry is even greater, mainly because of the allegations that her treatment of Shilpa is racially motivated. There was no racial issue the last time (Sophie was white, although coincidentally she was better spoken that Jade, better educated, more classy and better looking, sound familiar eh?).

But she turned it round before and made a successful career for herself. As much as I would love Jade to disappear forever from our screens and newspapers, there is always the chance that a slick PR campaign could rescue her from all this. It's going to be a lot harder than it was before but I wouldn't completely write her off. Once all this has died down after CBB has finished, we could well see a concentrated effort from Jade and her management to try and rekindle her career.

Need I point out that Ron Aktinson was undoubtedly caught out in a clear racial slur during a football game he was commentating on (called a black player a "lazy n*****" when he thought the microphones were off) and Ron has already been seen back on TV in a number of programmes and also had his own series on Sky One.

Jade could survive this. I don't want her to, she's a nasty vile little girl (although still in my view not racist), from her actions in the CBB House her treatment of others hasn't changed all that much from her first time in the BB house. It will be very, very hard for her but I wouldn't completely rule out a comeback for Ms Goody :bored:

Jade is still gonna be a big star out of this. As long as BB is around so will the Goody. Only when BB is axed will Jade sink back into normailty again.

Yes, I was reminded too when I saw this topic, of the Ron Atkinson and the 'Am I Racist?' contrition documentary.

Hopefully though, this will be the end of the Jade Goody 'career' - and I normally am happy for all ex-housemates to do well out of BB. But Jade didn't deserve the success she had in the first place.

She will still have her reported £4 million in the bank. :nono:
