yeah same he really disappointed me with the way he treated Janice, but i don't think what he did made him a vile person or a bully (as some people seem to think) he snapped once or twice, the rest of the time he was great to watch. i wanted him to win but i'm fine with james winning because i understand that the way Austin treated Janice was unacceptable

Yeah he was obviously awful to Janice, but he also bullied Chloe-Jasmine for days because she didn't attend his brother's toast (yet another seemingly good deed done by Austin that became soooooooooo obviously self-serving by the end of it all) and really only lashed out at women. I get that he has abandonment issues that led him to go insane over James and I get that he has mommy issues that led him to be a blatant misogynist who hurled abuse at whatever woman was closest to him, but no. I'm so ****ing sick of this show throwing awful people at us with the angle of "wow, they've treated so many people completely awfully, but at least they're Real and Interesting and Complex and they really are carrying the show" like no.
