This makes me depressed because it would take so long to get the cake stains out of the mug

it's not sticky at all, it's quite liquidly, more like a chocolate melt.

Anytime I make any microwave mug cake I am left with a gross microwaved brown scrambled egg.

it actually worked well for me! Normally when ever I make any of these cool/different things it goes horribly wrong.

the recipe I followed was:

2 tb spoons of flour
2 tb spoons of coco
chocolate chips/or anything choco cut up
3 tb of sugar
1/4 tb spoon of baking soda
1/4 tb spoon of vanilla extract
3 tb of milk
3 tb of oil

Will, thanks for this :). I'm going to try and make one after dinner.

In your recipe you didn't use any egg?

Is it easy to wash the mug after?

yes, it more like a light spongy thing, not really proper cake.

Yay :)

I made your chocolate recipe Will but I separated the mix into 4 espresso cups. They still took a full 2 minutes (all in the microwave at the same time) and they worked out well and were delicious. I will be experimenting with more flavours now I have this....Thanks!

We ate ours hot so they were very similar to a rich chocolate pudding.

I greased and floured the cups before adding the mix and they just slid out of the cup without sticking.
