I will now just enjoy the levity, fun, and trivial pusuits of Chat and Games and General Chat.

..I do think it's very jumbly and messy in there atm with threads that could be merged because they're just slightly different angles of same stories...it's easier with less threads so that you can go back easily to a story update without searching for longer...

Maybe he does maybe he doesn't... but the thing is, I can see why Kirk is sick of Serious Debates. And the very fact that you're willing to search and produce a pie chart kind of embroiders my point. I know that Kirk gets quite heated sometimes because he's passionate about stuff, and that's often met with a hail of ridicule and a bit of tag-teaming... and more than once swearing and personal comments. Now I know that's not going to be a popular thing to say, but it happens and I can see why he wants to knock serious debates on the head. it is no place for a grown up discussion.

It's nonsense, everyone in there is as bad as each other (except Ammi). If Kirk doesn't want to post there any more that's his business, some of his posts will be missed, but dragging exactly the same stuff into this thread in another section within the first few posts (Livia) makes it all a bit of a farce.
