Neighbours see Nissar Hussain, wife Kubra, six children as 'blasphemers'
Mr Hussain from Bradford converted from Islam to Christianity in 1996
His car windows are constantly smashed, his family attacked in the street
Police have been called but are reluctant to treat the abuse as a hate crime
Over the last year, Mr Hussain has had his car windscreen smashed six times at a cost of £5,000. His eldest son, a final year medical student, has also had his windscreen smashed.
It states in the Koran that the penalty for leaving Islam, like the family in question did, is death.

I am sick to death of this type of right wing, racist media reportage, which has obviously been faked to show all poor law abiding British Muslims in a bad light. There is none of this bigoted, extremist Islamic intolerance and hatred in this country.

Why are they reluctant to treat it as a hate crime when it so blatantly is?

Kirk, I notice you are wearing a Help the Heroes wristband. Can I ask you to remove it for fear of upsetting someone?
I am not sure who but just in case I get the blame
Will.

Really awful, everyone has freedom of religion and can choose to switch whenever they please. We are a secular country.
But on another note.. did you seriously just share a link from Britain First like they're a legitimate source of unbiased news? And the daily mail too? :laugh2:

If you can find a link that contains more and clearer information that is not in the links then post them
i would imagine the left wing press tend not to report this as its not a positive story for their agenda

According to this link http://www.wikiislam.net/wiki/Persecution_of_Ex-Muslims_%28United_Kingdom%29 its not unusual for converts to be persecuted.
The law needs to come down hard on the attackers. In my mind there should be zero tolerance for this.

If they were being attacked for being Muslims it would be quite a different story.

^ Strange, isn't it Livia?
It's sad to see. Hope that this family manage to find a peaceful and safe environment here in the UK. It's definitely not unheard of. Having worked in quite a few schools with 90%+ children of a Muslim background, I've heard some pretty chilling things.

I bet you have, Chaos.
No one should be persecuting anyone for who they are and what they believe.

It's just that they're notorious for printing things from a right-wing bias.

Don't want to be upsetting any poor British Muslim extremists or their sympathisers Liam.

True, and I do hate things like 'Britains first', but every single news company is biased in one way or another. People only notice with daily mail/britains first because it's one of the only few with a right-wing bias.

Yep, got to agree - They should be more impartial like The Morning Star or Wet Deluded Twot's Bleeding Heart Weekly.

Yeah, I mean every outlet is at least a little bit biased. But with Britain First & Daily Mail it's more extreme and almost on the lines of propaganda.

Oh trust me, I don't read the morning star for the same reasons
i thought the title said muppets :worry:
disgusting though.. hope they can find somewhere that's safer to live.

Who are Islamic extremist sympathisers on here?!?
If you are directing the question to me, then once again, you are misunderstanding plain English and misrepresenting what I said and taking what I said out of context.

To which specific question - by the use of my quoting it - I specifically replied:
Don't want to be upsetting any poor British Muslim extremists or their sympathisers Liam.
Which - given the context of the original post which Liam was responding to - meant the British Police.
Nowhere did I imply, insinuate, or state that I was referring to anyone 'on here'
So why do you assume as much?

parts of london and in the north of england, now have musilm ghetto zones, and labour run councils who made sure that child grooming was not to be stopped, this nation has lost the plot, and people can not see, that we are piling up are own funeral, if are government and police force will not protect non-musilms, then I worry for the future, the islamophobia law is the biggest threat to are way of life and freedoms, their must be a big reason why he left the close knit community,

I'm sure you wouldn't reference them in a sensible political debate though, and treat those books as unbiased and impartial.
(obviously though being a muslim is miles away from being a nazi so that was a strange way to phrase them as if they're in the same league)
