View Full Version : Did anyone like 4 in 4 out?
Maxxie.

I thought it did a lot to the series the best housemates from there were from the new ones. I think it's very underated & is criticised too much. One of the few good things of bb16.
They could maybe try it with cbb with 2 in & out? (I'd be up for 3 but Ik nobody else will)

It killed what had the potential to be a fantastic series and set the precedent for the numerous amount of twists that made the series much worse. So no, I did not.

I mean the series did die from that point onwards but it gave us Harry and Sam and it meant that the twins got to drag Harriet and Sarah (and to a lesser extent Kieran) with them so
Black Dagger

It evicted Sarah and got us Showbiz back who had a spectacular entrance so yeah. Tbh I never cared for the twins or Harriet so none of them felt like a loss.

I liked it cause Marc. Wish Sarah stayed.
Liam-
09-10-2015, 05:49 PM
It gave us Marc, Harry and Showbiz but took the twins and Harriet away so I was 50/50 about the result, the twist itself was good though

No it was terrible, it killed BB16.. didn't care who went because it was going to be tragic anyway... but they casted some awful people e.g pyscho moody Harry and bully Marc... Only Sam was the decent newbie

If it never happened and they done a normal eviction, Jade would've been evicted so the series was ****ed anyway, it gave us Jade and Harry at the same time, and it got rid of Sarah and Harriet, all in all I see it as a very good thing
Daniel.
09-10-2015, 06:11 PM
I would have if it hadnt given us Marc and two of the most overrated housemates ever in boring Sam and Harry

No. Everything was wrong with it. They could've just had one normal eviction and put the 3 new housemates (keep Showbiz a first evictee) in afterwards.

It would have worked better as an "all up, nominations donīt count" -thing, rather than the one we saw.

Also Harry and Sam overrated? Where was that?
Harry was generally quite hated (with the general public) and Sam was seen as an irrelevant/boring (again with the general public).

Jason.
09-10-2015, 06:45 PM
TBH, Sam was kinda dull and nowhere near a classic housemate as people made out. I like nice people, but FFS nobody can be that annoying. The producers unfairly evicting Sam to save Chloe in the last week was probably the best thing they did that series
Harry was brilliant, though.
Calderyon
09-10-2015, 06:51 PM
Harry was very entertaining and definitely delivered and Sam well... i guess she was good in the end, even though a bit fakey at times.
Babayaro.
09-10-2015, 06:55 PM
Not really. A quadruple eviction would be fine if it didn't take place two weeks into the series, didn't evict housemates who weren't even nominated and actually have them evicted in the normal way. That revolving door bull**** was awful. So yeah, it wasn't the greatest of ideas
Daniel.

I didn't mind her, although she left too soon to have much of an opinion on her.
She's only hated because she victim-blamed or something like that. I dunno, I was just clapping at the TV because someone was shouting at Joel :hehe:
But yeah, she piped up at the wrong time. No doubt she was safe from that eviction till it aired like 10 minutes before the lines closed and probably pushed her up to the one with the top 4 most votes.

I don't even think she was that promising anyway, she had an amazing vt, told Cristian off, then got into a dull predictable showmance with Danny and became miserable
Jason.

She wasn't worth surviving over Adjoa though ngl.
She was like Tamara BB15 in the second week with that Danny thing, and was only good in the first few days and her last week with Jade and Harriet.

No doubt it was close too. But I still can't get over BB16 having a head to head eviction :flutter:

BB16 could have been good if
1. Adjoa didn't go first
2. 4 in 4 out didn't happen
3. They put two new girls in and had no eviction that week (Harry and Sam)
3. Marc had never entered and ruined the show with his Tesco Perez antics
4. Joel went early
5. Jade had made the final

Sarah victim blaming Joel (or whatever she did) seemed like a gesture of good will in comparison to Helen Wood who said far far far worse in her BB16 stint on the first night of just being in the bunker.

Even though i disliked Harriet and Twins, the only good result of the 4in4out was that Sarah was evicted.
The optimal result for me might have been Kieran and Twins/Harriet surviving and Sarah, Danny, Chloe and Harriet/Twins getting evicted.

It really wasn't a good twist - a mass eviction and new housemates is just a basic idea. Plus it lost Harriet, twins and Sarah.
Jason.
09-10-2015, 10:20 PM
Also, it was really annoying that it happened in Week 2. It pretty much meant the first two weeks were a waste of time, getting to know them and the booting out like 1/3 of them only to replace them. I found it really unfair as well as none of them were even up in the first place. Like Harriet having no nominations at all and then you had people like Jade (although I'm glad it saved her) and Cristian who had like 9 and yet she lost her place in the house.
It was just wrong.

It could have recovered somehow after that, but then when they decided to do the secret room + Legend twist and then continued it way too long, it fell apart completely.

Yeah, had they not made it a mess in the last few weeks it would've been better. Extending the legends stay, adding Aisleyne randomly like halfway through, Cashbomb, Nominations Tag, lack of normal nominations.
It was just a mess of a series.
Daniel-X
09-10-2015, 10:33 PM
It wasn't exactly a great twist but it did get rid of Harriet, Sarah and Kieran who I think would've coasted to later stages in the series. I do think it is panned too much because it wasn't actually that bad I don't think.
I think the Sam being evicted twist which was random and we weren't even told about was much worse

I don't think it harmed the series, the series was destroyed with too many so called legends going in and more especially for far too long.

Marc was okay at first and in mediocre doses. After the legends came in, he became unbearable.
I liked it because the four that went, with the slight exception of Sarah, were really boring and didn't do that much.
The three new contestants were very entertaining.
Plus Simon came back and he was able to stay for quite a while, which was nice because we never got to see him and people kept judging him over his VT and he wasn't even like that.
