I'm a big ALDI fan myself. Love their range of products and the quality is very good along with great prices. I used to shop at Tesco until i did an early morning shop one morning and the staff were rude and said the tills won't be open for another 30 minutes so walk round the store until it opens. I said wtf? Why are you even open if i can't checkout my groceries? I also pointed out that on their website it states... just ask for a till to be open and they will. So i shoved the trolly at them and said ok i'm off to ALDI and i've never been back to that shytehole of a place they call tesco! I'm not surprized at all that there profits have dropped 55% this year!:dance::dance:

Lidl is my favourite, because they have it in Italy as well and it's very good value for money.

I stopped bothering with Aldi because:
- Since capturing market share, their prices have started to creep up.
- The quality of their meat is... err... not quality.
- Despite claiming that their own brand stuff is just like branded... it isn't actually.
- They treat their staff like ****.
The last one is a bag one for me. They understaff their stores and overwork the staff that are there in order to save money. Not something I admire in a company.

You sound like a fun customer to have to deal with.
Booths, Tesco and Morrisons are my main ones
although yesterday i was in preston and was in an experimental morrisons that was all like industrial/futuristic themed, it was so surreal

I do nigh on all my food shopping online now so it is Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda.
Friends and family get me stuff from other places if I need anything.
I do miss mooching in M&S:bawling:

Lidl now. No supermarket before that, just regular small/medium markets.
In terms of Markets, there´s only Finnish big chains or Lidl to choose from and the national ones have higher prices than Lidl.

Not something I admire in a company.I go there on rare occasions but there's always a massive queue so i usually look through the window first. As you say,It's normally under staffed.Only ever one checkout on.
