I have Wilf who was given to my grandmother the day she was born, passed on to my mum the day she was born and handed down to me when I was born. I did give him to my eldest son the day he was born but had to rescue him when I noticed him at the back of a dusty cupboard. He's still got his growl but he's now virtually hairless.

I'm not sentimental for things like that, I do have an orange dog I've had since I was little, it has no name :(
What a little weirdo I was/am

I have the cuddly toys I had as a child but they're not out, they're packed away. The only two I've had as an adult is a little figure of Count von Count and a Clanger that speaks when you press his tum. They're only a couple of inches tall and sit on one of my book shelves.

I collected them as a kid but I've gotten rid of them now, my favourite was a blue and brown bear called Billy that I slept with till I was 21  Luke sleeps with him now. I also kept a teddy my mom had a child, all the fur is gone from him now though

Awww threadbare teddies are just adorable and somehow more important than ordinary, pristine bears.

I have my mum's old one, it must be over 50 years old now, she ripped it's head off when she was a teen and restitched it back on with big black stitching:laugh: it too is thread bare in places, and filled with straw:shocked:

I myself have my childhood bear called Timmy, i got him when i were 11 from a holiday to Great Yarmouth, he's a lovely yellow colour, that makes him.....29.....:worry:

I looked at it for the longest time; the once thick fur mostly gone now, the podgy little stomach threadbare. It looked so..... sad. Even it's deep brown eyes seem to have lost their sparkle. But I realised that none of us can beat Father Time, so I stopped looking in the mirror.:laugh::laugh:
