Pork pies with sloppy peas in a dish topped with a liberal dollop of mint sauce and salt and pepper - just the thing for cold Autumn nights outside, like Bonfire Night.
Babayaro.

Very Nice
Lovely, warm with mushy peas and mint sauce.
Meat pie and chips from the chippy ..perfect taste combo
I only have mushy peas with a nice meat and potato pie ..
Or another alternative is chippy fish , chips and mushy peas

The only meat pies I have other than chippy ones would be a cold Melton Mowbray meat pie from the local market

Sometimes when arista resurrects ancient threads, I read through them and see a post and read it, and think "Yes! I totally agree with everything this person said, and they said it so well."
And then I look at the username - and it's me :joker:
I think this reveals quite a lot actually.

I knew a bloke, a old school Mechanic, used to work on old tractors and stuff (people would come from all over the country to have him fix up their old tractors), anyway, would see him drive up the lane everyday for his daily ritual, a Pork Pie and a Pint in the local pub. He said they went well together, maybe they do.
As for me, im not really a fan, i a couple of mini ones if they're part of buffet, but would never buy one.
