How much clothes storage do you have?

I seriously am struggling to store all of my clothes, atm I have (and this is just my storage, not including my OH's) ...

1 Double wardrobe with 2 shelves and hanging space, 2 chest of 4 drawers (so 8 drawers), a bedside cabinet with 1 drawer and an open space underneath, then I have 8 kallax spaces.

In the other room I have an entire malm chest of 4 drawers (these are big)

This doesn't even include the plastic storage drawers for accessories, shoes etc and the clothes that get put away in space saving vaccum bags for either winter/summer depending on the time of year!

Now I'm thinking I have far too much clothes and shoes

So how much clothes storage do you have? and how much do you think is normal?

My bedroom, triple wardrobe, bedside cabinet, tall 7 drawers chest at other side of bed, blanket box, big Built in the wall half cupboard with shelves and hanging rail.
Hubby has a massive all in one 2 extra wide double wardrobes with a shelf cupboard in the middle. He has matching bedside cabinet with three drawers and then the same one inside one of his wardrobes.
Guest bedroom has a double wardrobe with three drawers at the bottom plus a narrow 7 drawer chest.
Spare room has two double wardrobes with a big wide chest of drawers in the middle.
Oh yeah, my bed has 4 bed drawers as well.
Downstairs walk in cupboard full of coats etc..yet more coats in cloakroom.
Just enough room for everything really, none spare.

Not much, but I'm doing my room up in the new year so I'm going to get some proper storage, my room is an awkward shape so I've had to search for the perfect wardrobe to go with the chest of drawers I want, all I've got right now is a 4 drawer chest and a built in cupboard in my wall.

You need a clear out Josy, instead of buying furniture to hoard more stuff :nono:

I have a wall with fitted louvred doors and in there is 2, 5 shelfs at either end and a double wardrobe (childrens clothes go in here). I also have an lovely art nouveau wardrobe that I keep underwear and pjs and the like. I use about 5 foot of that wardrobe for clothes that I hang up.

I do not keep any clothes that I dont wear - everything gets thrown away

The wardrobe is mainly full of exmrslts clothes that I have not touched - there is also a cupboard full of sheets and pillow cases that I try not to go into as its confusing. When my sheets need to be changed I wash them dry them and put them back on, not sure why i need anymore that one sheet and the like but girls like buying stuff like that I guess

I like to operate with few good quality clothes that get worn a lot. I have no room for fashion or clothes that are not warm and hard working

A wardrobe, a chest of drawers and two bedside tables, each with three compartments.

I had tons of clothes I don't wear anymore but I'm too scared to throw them away, just in case.

I am sure Josy has some pants that she could let go. Mums love pants. Just put a M&S label on and sew up the crotches and your Mum will be none the wiser

I have a wardrobe, some drawers, a dressing table and fabric covered boxes on the wardrobe and under the bed.
I have an 'expadit' (like kallax) in the kitchen and every room has a sideboard...I love them :)

At my parents house it's on the side of the upstairs hallway - ontop of the staircase basically (if that makes sense).

Hanging storage is always a problem on the boat but we have made one of the births into a walk in wardrobe. We also have a shipping container which I store out of season clothes and shoes in.

In France I use much less storage but the weather is either very hot or very cold and so clothes choices are really simple.
