Will the new housemates be aware of the problems in the house?

Most likely that is why adding a new housemate is a bad idea...at such a late stage they will go in with an agenda which will be a shame. It is not likely they have anyone locked away in a hotel they will have been watching.

I guess the new houseguest is a new rumor.

If someone new joins the house I think they will be aware what is going on especially if he new person is a celebrity. You can't lock them up just in case you need another housemate. They wouldn't stand for it.

the regular HM's are usually left in isolation before they are brought in. mind you, they could have to sign a non-disclosure agreement before they enter, so they don't cause a sh*tstorm.

that said, I doubt they are really going to bring in some new people now.

a week to go and still every day rumours of housemates - and they're believed

how gullible are some people ?

Any new HM going in now would be seen exactly for what it is, something to distract from Dannielle and Jo getting what they deserve, after Miss Piggy is whicked away toinght to a secret 5 star hotel so she can enter negotiations to sell her story to the papers and arrange friendly tv interviews [AKA moving her somewhere til things die down - in £ndemol speak]
