13 is the only one I'd call a good series. 12 and 14 were kind of meh, 15 and 16 started well and became diabolical.

I enjoyed 13, it's by far the best C5 series. 14 went downhill pretty much after Sam became the favorite to win, which sucks because just a week and a half before the final Gina was the clear winner. I didn't enjoy 12 or 16 at all, and I merely enjoyed 15.

I agree with the less manipulation and more normal nominations part, but the cotton-candy TOWIE cast/presentation of BB12 is solely the reason why it was trash.

as regards to 12 vs. 15/16, the TOWIE cotton candy presentation certainly isn't good but boy oh boy do I miss that compared to the dark, falsely evil, twisted presentation of 15 and 16 where it seems like the only two types of tasks are gross food ones and viewer opinion ones, where there aren't any normal nominations or head-to-head evictions, where the producers scream BORING!!!!! NOT ENOUGH FIGHTING!!!!! to the point where they feel Helen Wood is necessary to a series for it to be a good one (okay 12 had Aaron but still), etc.

14 and 16, infact I'd say this year was my favourite since 11, just a nice and simple series

I only voted for 16 because the first three weeks showed real potential so I definitely enjoyed it at some point, even if it soon turned into a trainwreck. 13 was the best throughout and 14 was great up until about week 6.
