contact lenses since i was 15. (i'm 33 now) I love them.

I don't know why anyone would rather wear glasses. i just put my contacts in and i can't feel them and i forget i even have a vision problem. Literally i often forget that i have such poor vision. I usually put them in and keep them in for like 2 or 3 months at a time, i totally forget i'm wearing them, until i finally have to take them out, then i'm always shocked by how blind i really am without them. I've never had any problems with them though.

You don't take them out at all? Not even to sleep? That can't be good for your eyes

Don't wear them enough to warrant contact lenses.

I wear coloured contact lenses sometimes but there's no lenses in them so I don't think they count.

I'm fairly short-sighted but don't bother with glasses (some people just really aren't suited to them, and I'm one of them).

Everything's so much clearer with glasses and HD quality but I can still see just fine without. It's only a problem when I have to see things from a distance, but I've always seen myself as someone with slightly worse-than-average eyesight but not quite bad enough to warrant wearing glasses or contacts.

thats what they always say, but my eyes are fine. my prescription has;t gotten significantly worse from it. if they start to get uncomfortable then i take them out, replace them. if you listen to your body it's not a big deal. i keep them in for usually atlas a few months, then take them out, wear glasses and let my eyes "breathe" for a few days. no problems ever.

Like i said, i really forget i even have a vision problem until they get uncomfortable. then i'm always shocked by how blind i really am without them. lol i really am basically blind past my outstretched hand without them. just blobs of color past that.

Glasses but I don't wear them constantly. Went about 8 years straight without wearing any after leaving school because I was sick of them (wasn't a good idea but my sight hasn't really changed luckily ), then a couple of years ago got a pair I actually like so I tend to wear them more again now.

I've been told contacts wouldn't be good for me but I wouldn't want them anyway, the idea freaks me out.

Glasses for reading and 'close' work - which have progressed in strength over the past 5 years or so.

I don't need them otherwise.

I had 20/20 vision all of my life and then suddenly they were telling me it was ****e vision (like 6 months after my last check up I was fumed) and now I need glasses for long distance but I pretty much only need them at the cinema. Everything else just makes outlines clearer but I can still make out what's there.

I'll probably need them legally for driving which I'm a bit pissed about because I can see Road sings but oh well.

I only started wearing glasses when I was learning to drive because I couldnt see the reg plate that they ask you at your test. I only wore them for driving but kept forgetting them so started wearing them more. My eyes got lazier and now I can't see without them without getting a massive headache. So glasses for work and round the house and contacts for when I go out

Contact lenses are an absolute godsend, I love the things. Sure it's a bit of a hassle taking them in and out each day but it beats either seeing nothing or only being able to see well through two small oblong lenses which sit awkwardly on your face
