I'm the same, if the only word I can use is a swear word i'll always try to stop myself from saying it. End up sounding like a right child

Marsh.

Not really.

I do swear but not so often that it loses impact.

If I am ****ed off you know it by my colourful language.

Not really in real life, I never swear in front of family. Sometimes around friends and work colleagues. Online I used to swear a lot but I don't think I do much now.

Really only when watching football... my kids learnt at an early age that they weren't allowed to repeat what mommy said while her team was losing :hehe:

Same, the amount of times I've physically bit my tongue to stop words coming out is ridiculous

I couldn't imagine swearing in front of my family, my brother and sisters do it all the time but I'm like mentally searching the dictionary for a suitable replacement for the C word.

Ashley.
03-11-2015, 09:59 PM
I swear freely in front of my family, just not my grandparents. It's just in my nature now. I use swear words as much as I use any other word and I think nothing of it.

Only sometimes. Really annoys me when people swear like every other word

Ross.
03-11-2015, 10:01 PM
Only when I'm stressed or annoyed really

Natalie.
03-11-2015, 10:10 PM
Not too much, mostly when I'm annoyed
I try and use other words, even if they make no sense

Yes, too much I can't help it. Even in front of my mum I will sometimes call people on TV twats and cover my mouth but I can't help it. I blame my Aunty who used to look after me all the time when I was little because every sentence she says includes a swear word.

What :suspect: no it's not, it would be mother****er followed by c--t in terms of severity

Twat is probably on the same level as other mild insults such as bitch/prick tbh

Don't around the mother (even though she swears just as much). Otherwise, every other word.

Marsh.
04-11-2015, 02:42 AM
Hasn't twat become a slur word for vagina like the c word? That might be why it's severe for some people.

Rob!
04-11-2015, 02:58 AM
I swear like all the time. :worry:

Twat is one of the worst swear words most people think where I live :suspect: everyone says the four letter ones too which basically means cun-t and twat. Mother****er is never really used where I come from its sort of an Americanism.

Bitch and prick are FAR less worse than twat

I sometimes use a swear word when I'm expressing something I feel strongly about but I rarely curse. Whilst I can't stand being around people who need to swear every other word, I quite enjoy people who use it occasionally within a creative and expressive output.

I would never swear in front of my children or my parents.
