....hmmm, I don't think it's a class thing Ruby, I think it's just what different people find comfortable and what their personal preference is and personally, I prefer jogging bottoms and a top/hoodie etc.../two separate bits...

The stitch one is cute:flutter:
I wonder with the class thing because my friends are quite snobby but i'm not, it was more the way my friends reacted to the onesie, like it was a chav item, one friend said she wouldn't buy one for her 7 year old son, my question was..."why not?" she then said that in the area she lived she couldn't put her son in one, i just replied that they are fun items and very comfy....it was a weird convo!
Maybe class is the wrong word, but i don't know any other way to put it...
I would class myself to be the common one in the group, it's strange really because i really having nothing in common with them other than we were at school together.
Niamh.

Well i suppose they make me feel inferior, one of my friends said that ex local authority house look ugly, i was like.....hello...i live in one:nono: and they are great houses, we can't all afford a half a million pound barn conversion like you!

..yeah that is a bit odd that for them , it's associated with 'chav', I've never heard that before myself, Ruby...is that more of a 'fashion slave' thing, do you thing.../what they perceive as cool/and uncool....

But on a plus note they're all coming to my chav house before xmas and i'm going to wear my onesie with pride, and we're going to play on the Wii!

It's just a trait I hate in people, thinking that they're above other people, don't think I could spend any length of time with someone like that yet alone consider them friends of mine

My friends are like Helen from the film Bridesmaids, and i'm more like a cross between Annie and Megan:laugh:
I don't see them often, i've been friends with 2 of them since i were 5 years old, but the sad fact is that we have nothing in common, time to move on i think:(

..if they're childhood friends that you want to still see occasionally, Ruby then that's your decision..if there are other things that you do like about them or benefit from spending time with them, only you can know that ..but I think that, what you have to think is...they might have 'stuff' that you don't have but it's just stuff/material things, which means nothing and says nothing about a person...and I doubt that they would make you feel like you do when you're with them, if that stuff was actually important to them either and they were truly happy with their lives and what they have...

We're all different aren't we Ammi, and they are all very materialistic, whereas i'm not, i'm quite happy in my house with my life, i try to keep things as simple as possible, whereas they all work very hard and are entitled to whatever possessions that makes them happy, i just hate feeling inferior, which is why i thought they could come to mine before xmas, i place a higher value on time with my loved ones, days out and holidays over new cars and kitchen refurbs, it's important my time is spent making memories rather than painting and decorating, and i'm quite a spiritual person who loves, angels and crystals and......well.......they think i'm weird:laugh:
