I agree. These people would rather die than talk. And chances are they are at the bottom of a very long chain of command, each level of which knows very little about the level above. What's more if there alive, there's the potential for hostage-takers to demand their release.

Yes I sometimes wonder if people have forgotten that the entire point of terrorism is to create fear. Kill a couple of dozen people in a small scale attack and watch hundreds of millions quaking in their boots convinced that it could be them next when they're actually more likely to be killed choking on a peanut.

Nope - The terrorists are winning because for too long the self blind ******* who have denied the threat and apologised for the terrorists have been the most vocal and intimidating in silencing those who could see it.

That woman's fear may be irrational and the threat exaggerated in her perception, but that is the EFFECT of ISIS's success in perpetrating atrocities and NOT the CAUSE of it.
