I wonder when the eye will be revealed. Cause in 2013 they revealed the CBB13 eye in late November - so in the next week or so. But last year for CBB15 they revealed everything all in one go the day after IAC finished with just a month to go till it launched. I hope they do the same this year and reveal everything on the 7th of December as I'm in IAC mode atm and don't begin to look forward to CBB till after IAC.

Not really because I doubt Celebs would be willing to especially if they have kids in school they would want to spend as much time as possible with them I think it will be the 6th

I don't think so. I doubt the celebrities would be available for New Years Day as they'd be with their families. It's kind of like them entering on Christmas. And also I'd imagine the launch rating badly if it did, as most people are out on New Years Day and the competition etc.

I was going to mention that. CBB7 had a Sunday launch. CBB17 could have one too - it could launch on Sunday 3rd January like CBB7 did. I wouldn't rule it out though, as the possible 2016 changes state that CBB17 will be a minimum of 26 days. If they launched on Sunday 3rd January, they could finish the series on Friday 29th January - making it 27 days like CBB7 and CBB13.

Idm a Wednesday launch, imo that's the earliest it should launch if its a weekday launch. The worst case scenario would be if they launched on Monday 4th January or Tuesday 5th January - which they probably will cause it's C5.

A Saturday launch would be dreadful. It'd rate abysmally. In other words, Channel 5 will probably launch it on a Saturday.
