View Full Version : Most honest nation test.....

the truth
19-11-2015, 07:10 PM
1500 people tested from 15 different nations using 2 different experiments

How it works

In test one participants were asked to flip a coin and if it landed on heads they’d win money. If the proportion reporting heads was more than 50% it indicated cheating. In test two participants were offered a prize for completing a music quiz without searching for answers on the internet. Three of the questions were deliberately difficult, requiring most people to look the answer up. If they got more than one of the difficult questions right, it indicated cheating

The results in ascending order

At the bottom the Chinese, 2nd from bottom the Indians

followed by

Brazillians

Turks

Russians

South Koreans

Argentinians

Portuguese

Japanese

Greeks

Americans

the Danish

the Swiss

South Africans

and at number 1.............................?

For some reason I read this as 'most honest nation teas' and thought the truth had really changed

Could the results of this test not be affected by the wealth of the participants/countries though? I'm a bit cynical about it. People aren't either honest or dishonest. There's scales and different situations where peoples honesty will vary.

I was thinking this very same thing... sounds like a hokey test imo

I don't think this is very reliable tbh.. but I think the most honest would probably be Canada maybe?
