I think from their point of view it was more a show of protest, rather than them wanting to take part in a debate with her. Their way of sticking two fingers up her I suppose. as someone who went to this uni and knows a couple of folks in the video I can say this isn't solely a protest against Katie Hopkins, but also against the people who organised this event which is meant to celebrate Brunels 50th year. Considering that it's one of the most diverse universities in the UK and Katie's offensive comments involving race/disability she's really not somebody who represents the university very well.
