How do you actually feel about your partner's friends?

I adore them. They still check up on me and we meet at the Cenotaph every year and have lunch afterwards. One of them is a bit of a gobsh1te but I love him anyway.

I really like his friends, his closest friends are all from the area I grew up so we'd have a very similar sense of humour and experiences

I had an ex who I was with for 3 years whose best friend I couldn't stand! He was horrible actually, he'd say things about me on social media, be rude to me, once (that I know about) he told my bf that he should break up with me because being single is better and he was too young to be tied down. I actually think it was all out of jealousy of his friend being in a serious relationship, because he'd never had one and he was bitter. The worst thing about it all was that my bf was completely oblivious to how horrible his friend was to me and used to laugh it off/ignore it, but they'd been friends since they were kids and it's hard to compete with that.

His other friends were ok though!

Livia , have you been to the Staffordshire Arboretum , it's not far from where I live , it's a place I think you would like.

I have been there Kaz, yes. His regiment had their Drum Head Service there, for fallen comrades. It is a beautiful place. Very peaceful.
