No, they do it every year. They list the most influential people (regardless of why they're influential), then there's controversy over them picking bad people, which misses the point imo.

I haven't read it so I don't know what they say about him, but I'm gonna guess they don't say good things. I think people are able to judge him though without needing to be told to by Time magazine.

Yeah as Jamie said it's not best person of the year (Hitler and Stalin have won the award before) and it's hard to deny that the leader of ISIS is an incredibly influential person (even if he is awful)

I would have thought so at first too, because we hear so much more about ISIS obviously, but reading what they've written about her impact, I can understand the reasoning.
