Last 3 seasons of BB have all had themes, CBB15 less compared to BB16 and CBB16.

But I'm glad there's no sort of format theme like UK vs USA.

There were a few twists based on the Twisted Fairytale theme of CBB15. Like Enchanted Mirror, That picking HM's pictures of a tree game, KP's entrance.

But yeah I get where you're coming from though. I think CBB13 would be a better comparison. The theme for that series was Russian Opulence, but it was only carried out for the eye and the house design as opposed to the format.

yeah, it wasn't dominating in there series.

And yeah CBB13 is perfect comparison, had a theme for the house and eye but no format them.

The CBB17 house sounds very similar actually to CBB13.

Yeah I get what you mean. Personally I don't think format themes are a great idea. UK vs USA worked better than it could have but it still feels a bit forced, like they're almost trying to market it as a different type of show to what BB is actually supposed to be (whatever that is anymore haha!) There'll probably be various tasks in keeping with the house theme but nothing more than that I'm guessing.
