First of all, my sincere relief that the teacher's injuries are not life-threatening, and I wish him a speedy full recovery.

Secondly, I do not believe that this is anything other than a 'lone wolf' attack by a Islamic extremist nutjob, although, let me ponder a moment:

The victim is a totally unaware, unarmed defencless civilian in a normal everyday environment, and not some heavily armed professional soldier in some 'theatre of war' or army barracks, so;

Yeah, it certainly fits the M.O. of these mythically brave, heroic, Soldiers of Allah.
