A millionaire property developer has been cleared of raping a teenager after claiming he accidently tripped and fell on her.

Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, was accused of forcing himself on an 18 year-old-girl who had slept on his sofa in his Maida Vale flat after a night out drinking.
The businessman had already had sex with the teenager’s 24-year-old friend, whom he already knew, in the bedroom and said his penis might have been poking out of his underwear when he fell on the teen.
The young woman said she had woken up in the early hours of the morning, with Mr Abdulaziz on top of her, forcing himself inside her.

Unbelievable, the justice system is shot. :/

I don't think the justice system has served women well, historical, on the issue of rape. And if this were the only story I had heard on how hard it is for a woman to prove that a man found trying to insert himself into her while she slept is an act of rape, maybe his innocence would be easier to believe... But I doubt it.

Rape is naturally a difficult thing to prove, it's nothing to do with the Justice system not serving them well. How are we supposed to know what happened if there's no evidence?

I would agree that historically women have been treated badly by the justice system, but things are improving albeit quite slowly. While I do agree with what you say on the whole, this is one report in a newspaper with only one side of the story. Not enough for me to condemn the whole justice system, I'm afraid.

What really bugs me about this report is he hasn't denied that he was found on top of a young girl with his penis out and actually trying to insert into her... But that some how there is a way in our world to logic away such a scenario. I don't care if you are drunk or sleep walking or have 1000 degree temperature... there has to be some kind of justice for the young girl who woke up with a man on top of her, with his penis on the way in. I don't often agree with Livia but I do in this case.

What we have been fed is an incomplete story...the rest will or won't follow at some point. All the press had when this went to print was an 'accusation' and a 'not guilty' verdict.

The press love leaving its readers to speculate over a half story without ever finishing the full story (because they got it wrong) Its up to us not to read too much into these alarmist headlines when we don't have the full picture in front of us.

Ummm I get what you're saying but this is a little bit misleading. It's pretty well established that the rape conviction rate compared to the report or even arrest rate is shockingly low... And that in many of those cases guilty people will be walking free. It's a crime that, in the absence of injury or confession, can be very very difficult to prove. Obviously there are many reasons for that, and they don't have immediately apparent solutions, but it is nonetheless a major flaw in the justice system and hardly "on the strength of one story".

I know.The only women that i've ever slept with that have the old 'baggy fanny' have been mothers tbf.Even the biggest penis can't affect vagina size that much unless it is from prolonged action.I'd say prostitutes could be at risk of the 'black hole of calcutta' syndrome due to the amount of usage but child birth is the main contributor.My humour is lost in this enviroment of sensitive souls and a strong feminine presence.
