It doesn't make you racist. It makes you ignorant.

Good point. You sound more like a xenophobic (?) than a racist. If you actively avoid other races then Id say you have some sort of issue to deal with, but I certainly wouldnt hold it against you. As long as you dont go round lookin for trouble or making it.

Seems a bit extreme, but its your choice,as Hitman said long as your not stirring trouble with other races then its up to you where you live.

Yep, xenophobe practicing a form of apartheid.
If ignorance is bliss you must be ecstatic

Yeah, its kind of an odd one really, i mean im not a mad psycotic activist or anything like that and im not ignorant of other race's and nor do i fear any other race, i dispised jade for what she did to shilpa along with everybody else, nobody likes to see that sort of thing happen no matter what creed or color, its just a decision that i made a long while ago, shilpa said when asked that would she marry any other race than indian, and she said no saying that to much would have to change for the partner and her..........this is my sort of thinking, so if she is free to choose, shouldn't i be??????

Theres no doubt we are all free to choose what we want. The thing with Shilpa and her culture I suspect its to do with their religion and things like that. Religion is quite oppresive and some people are willing to live under those laws but find peace at the same time. Shilpa has already claimed that Dirk is too old, but if it was me (24), im sure Shilpa would make an exception. I dont think she is adamant about marrying an indian, just that it was her intention.

As far as choice goes, theres no reason you should ever force yourself to FANCY a hottie of a different race, but if you dont even want to associate with other races, it sounds like you could do with some advice on getting over it.
