I really enjoyed this video, it was a nice reaction video made as a PSA)public service announcement) about homophobia and being refused service or discriminated by businesses in Spain.

okay this got off track quickly... this PSA has nothing to do with churches! lol i just thought it was a nice PSA informing people that homophobia from businesses should be taken seriously and reported. I thought it was very well done.

It is but being predominantly Catholic may move slower than other places, at least they are progressive rather than regressive.

England isn't catholic and it's moving just as slowly there... we still see plenty of stories about gays being denied lodging or cakes in the UK. The US also isn't mostly catholic it's mostly protestant, and same thing.
I really liked that too, thanks for sharing this Alex.

England is very progressive, Ireland is getting there too, mix of ignorance and religion is maybe the main issue then?

I remember watching this a while ago, it's very heart-warming to see so many people give the couple support.

I wouldn't really say there was much of a problem left with 3/4 of the UK - these cases about a bakery here, or a hotel there, are so rare now and make the news because they're so ridiculous and out of touch and doomed to commercial failure unless they join the 21st century.
Northern Ireland, of course, is a whole different issue and just largely an incredibly frustrating and stupid country.
