my god this has to be the worst disney film I have EVER seen. seriously, I hated it. All the characters were annoying (minus the real life people and the imaginary friend)
i'm surprised because I don't think there's any disney film that I hate, but this one was just... ugh.
'Sadness' was literally the most annoying character I've ever seen in a film. and my god the everything going wrong every 2 mins just made me roll my eyes.
Am I the only one who hated the film??

Frozen was hands down the worst Disney film I've ever seen, it actually angered me that so many people ponder to it

Caitlin :(
I thought it was brilliant. It's not my favourite Pixar film, but it's better than other overrated films such as Wall.E and Up.

When I saw it I was really surprised with how good it was, Joy is the most annoying character ever and sadness

A lot of people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (like me) like this movie because it makes them realise that we do have feelings and emotions and we are able to show them.

I really liked it actually. I enjoyed "The Good Dinosaur" too, went to see that with the kids last weekend. Both are unusual for Pixar, a little bit more subtle I suppose? They don't have the same fanfare as something like Toy Story or Monsters Inc. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Neither are quite up there with Wall E but then again, I'm a big fan of post-apoc so I might have some bias there?
For a kids perspective: my 6 year old loves Inside Out, my 3 year old (who has autism) wasn't interested at all. Both of them enjoyed The Good Dinosaur, 6 year old overall was more into Inside Out.
As for not liking the "characters" in Inside Out - what us there to say? They are, by design and definition, one dimensional characters. That's sort of the point, right? I thought the deconstruction was quite accurate for a young girl in my experience... My own daughter getting angry when she's unable to process sadness is quite a common occurrence. I think this film helped her to understand it a little better, too.

I just finished watching Big Hero 6 and I thought that was a waaaaay, way better film.
I think I just hated the film 'Inside Out' so much, because 'Sadness' was such an annoying **** and it also reminded me of a short fat lesbian and i've had a bad experience with one of those so I think that's why it made me rage so much.

I thought sadness was the only good thing about the whole film, her and disgust. It was a terrible film though, not something I'll be watching again :bored: I'm a huge Disney fan so the crap films they're bringing out recently is do disappointing :(
I'll be the prick who says it's Pixar not Disney

It's a good film, I think you are overreacting a bit. It's not in my top 5 pixar movies but I can appreciate it for what it is.

it's a good film but it's really overrated because it's not that great of a film, they are loads of better films than this.

I've only heard good things about it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it when I watch it.
But yes, Big Hero 6 is the best thing any animation studio have done since 1992.

I feel like I should state before my post that I'm a Disney obsessive fanboy :p
I adore inside out, it's one of those rare films I walked out of the cinema and had a new view on life where I needed one, I found it to be entertaining all the way through whilst telling a story and giving off slight hints that could give someone brand new aspects.
At the stage I'm in at the minute, all my islands must've collapsed :joker:
I however disagree about BH6, the first 45 minutes were gold dust, 45 genuinely funny, amusing minutes, but the other half was some of the worst I've seen Disney produce since the 2000-2006 drought, it was just so generic and almost took away from the films identity, if the first 45 minutes had been the layout of the whole film, it would've been in my top 10 (which as someone who is thinking about Disney for most of the day is an achievement :p), but the rest of it just ruin it and send it plummeting into the 40's (although I can't stand Brave or Wall.E and they seem to be adored)

I've heard that it's done wonders for the ASD industry, it's helping so many people that they couldn't reach before.

It's actually really blonde of me, but I didn't think it was going to be a superhero film, so I was pleasantly surprised when I realised it would be. It was cool that it wasn't meant to be about the superheros, more so about them using science/inventions to take down someone evil, and I thought that was really cool.
