BBC website and iPlayer wiped off the internet for more than three hours by major 'cyber attack'
BBC News, iPlayer and online live streams of radio and TV went down
It sparked panic with many joking the glitch indicated the end of the world
Outage was due to cyber attack known as distributed denial of service
Sees attackers inundate sites with requests leaving them unable to cope

I want Met office Forecasters who write their own forecasts

Only the MO and SEPA told me to expect "similar of not more rain than in Storm Desmond" then I knew to get things off the ground and had no losses

(now I have ordered a Flood Shield for the bad door so no more ingress)
