So I've been thinking about doing this for a while, having my own thread to rank reality casts in my spare time! With my own thread I can go at my own pace (spoiler: slow atm) and casually update this. Hopefully discussions can be civil, engaging and interesting.

So the improper Dolls get cut first! Obvs!

So before the Pussycat Dolls came to how we all know them, they existed as a burlesque troupe with a residency at a LA nightclub (Britney could nevah). I'm sure at one point there was over 15 members so they can all get categorised together here. The group eventually evolved into a franchise and Ms Robin Antin put them together with established singer Nicola Kea [Scherzinger] as they transformed from burlesque group to singing starlets! At this point, poor Carmen Electra was culled and I find it hilarious that her given statement at the time was:

Electra, when asked about her lack of involvement with the group's evolution into a popular music group, said, "I was part of [the Dolls] for over two years and did every show with them [...] but financially, I couldn't become part of their new music project [...] It was a sacrifice I couldn't make."

AKA the bitch can't sing! Exhibit A:

Kaya Jones lasted one single (Sway) before she also left the group, with the remainders being what we're all familiar with. But I wanted to mention Kaya because she did happen to bring a bop out in a collab, way before Jessica Sutta hopped on collabs here and there. A tad avant garde?

Carmit was the longest remaining PCD member with 13 years to her name, and you can tell! Not really much to say for her because she lasted the one album with the Dolls and had very little vocal ability plus has been in hiding(?) since leaving the Dolls. What else.... she had a cleft lip fixed, she has a child called Keala Rose (Kesha's impact!) and is happily married with bae now.

So the only other thing to mention is the iconic "Cream", her debut and only? solo song about her sexual fantasies and wanting her milky way licked and other stuff. Hilariously messy and a song that should be left to Miss Khia.

Now I do love me some Kimberly, but I'm going off solo careers now and hers is slightly less great than the other gals. Granted, the most blame is put on the other guy that was part of her duo post-Dolls. She has a real upbeat attitude and I love that, and the music she contributed to in the duo is real funky electronic which I was totally her for but the other girls outshone her in their projects, sorry Kim :( She just wasn't really noticeable/standout-ish for me until she left PCD and went off on her own.

- Also negative points for her P!nk haircut in the PCD eras.
- And there was that song with Aggro Santos, messy.
- And she did that dancing show on Sky One!

Jessica was drafted into the Dolls in 2003 and would dance her socks off for them, but she was rarely to be found near the microphone. Surprisingly, she showed off her vocal talent in a 2007 feature which was reminiscent of early 2000s bops.

And it also made me realise for the first time how much dirty the execs did on the backing Dolls because it was clear they could all offer credible vocals, to an extent. It also left me pondering whether we'd ever hear from the other girls excluding Melody's wails. Thankfully their solo careers came along and Jessica's debut song alone shot her above Kimberly for me, an absolute generic dancefloor anthem which slayed the Billboard Dance Club charts!

Five years later, we're still waiting upon her debut album; Feline Ressurection. And after an array of singles it's been claimed to be released this year but who knows... since her label has been saying it'd be coming soon since 2010. At least we got another bop (Again) out of it :clap1:

Ashley comes in at #3 and it really was close between her and #2 but she didn't make any impact on me other than her dancing talents until she appeared on IAC, far later than the other gals making an impact, but her beauty did standout to me on Stickwitu <3. On IAC, she was a brilliant campmate and everything you'd hope for in a winner... competitive, fierce, boisterous, fun etc etc but sadly she was pipped to the post due to Charlie Brooks having a daughter. And her losing by like 0.3% is foreva painful! It was just amazing how she was quite obscure and unknown in the UK, then she came onto IAC and became this sort of national treasure <3 Queen!

Her gigs didn't end there, as she then went on to become a judge on Dancing On Ice <3 and she participated in The Jump, I didn't watch that tho. She was the last Doll to bring out some solo material so I was eagerly anticipating and when she delivered, it did not disappoint! Her debut song was a chilled out love song with amazing lusty vocals:

I really wanted her to be first but she just hasn't brought enough material out or been in the public eye that much </3 but I must say her voice is my favourite from the whole of PCD and it pains me as to how much she was paid dust within the group in favour of Nicole, as her ad-libs make some PCD songs such as I Don't Need A Man and Beep! The fact she was able to speak out in public about her limited role was a scream too and clock the truth! <3 Also nice to add that she's like 32 and looks 22 STILL! Why are PCD members so youthful? Swiftly moving this on so I can move onto some Reality TV! Nicole Kea claims #1 naturally for providing the most, so I guess Robin Antin's to blame for influencing this rank! Nicole is the kind hearted power tripping HBIC of PCD who's served group hits, solo hits, TV giggles and theatre performances. Alike to the other dolls, her debut was long overdue after ha first album was shelved (Poor Her Name Is...) due to the will.i.am curse (I don't know if it's even because of him but I blame him cos it's will.i.am and Britney Jean). Personally, I was hooked on stanning after the Buttons MV was released as Nicole truly served for me from there on out! After PCD disbanded, Nicole was rumoured to be fronting the new era of it with a new lineup of backup dancers which made me scream that more girls would sign up to being nobodies :laugh: but she eventually pulled out and went solo :love: The trinity of Poison, Don't Hold Your Breath and Right There were then served, DHYB is definitely an alltime classic and doesn't get old even if it underwhelmed when it leaked! Sometime later she became an X-Factor judge and served sass for all her series, although she more often than not got bad categories (only liked her with Tamera, Hannah B et al. ), thus providing us with many iconic gif including:

After leaving the XFactor she released Big Fat Lie and did theatre for a few years until controversially pulling out of a big Andrew Lloyd Webber play to come back home to X Factor (silly career move but I'm selfishly happy I get to see my dream panel lineup!) All I truly want from Nicole now is a full on urban R&B album because I know she can deliver, the indie stuff needs to geaux (I see you Big Fat Flop - Your Love knocks tho)!
