I'm not sure whether this has been posted before (I did search for a thread), but way back in 2011, someone made a video comparing Big Brother on Channel 4 to Channel 5.

Finished watching it all. This just makes me even more sad to see what the show has become nowadays tbh :sad:

Also what font is used for the Channel 5 ones (Not Gotham but the other one in the video)

Same tbh - there's so much potential there to be great again but they throw it all away in favour of over-produced VTs and a shouty Marcus Bentley.

The font is Nexa. I wish that Big Brother would switch to using it as not only is it in-sync with the channel's branding (the custom C4 typeface was always used on BB) but it's a much better font than Gotham.

Ty for the font. I've been looking for it for a while. And I agree, it's nice looking than Gotham which is just too bold and ugly.

It really was! (well it could be more longer like the C4 ones, but that's one of the comparisons in the video which didn't upset me too much) till BB16's messy pre-recorded one came along :omgno:

Yeah they need to bring those hour tours from 2 years ago back tbh. We haven't had a decent/C4-esque house tour since BB15.

BB14 was the one time Channel 5 managed to do quite a few things right. That house tour :love:

BB14 is the most 'complete' Channel 5 series. God knows how they've managed to mess the show up again the two years that followed BB14. But yeah that house tour was flawless, don't think I've ever been that excited since the C4 days!

100% agreed. It's crazy to think how dramatically downhill they went after BB14. That was the one year we were getting quite a bit of live feed too! The only time they listened to fans and coincidently the highest rated Channel 5 civilian series.
