He didn't splash it over the internet.

It came out on some crap site after he was in the house.

I was wondering why she was so emotional when the camera was panning to her when he went in.

This is actually genuine but lets get this straight hes got his pay so letsnot vote for him to win based on a good deed we still need a ****ing crazy winner lol.

It's a fact I guess, care homes are expensive and this will help. Shame they didn't keep the house and rent it out to help towards the care bill :(

I agree. It's almost like saying he doesn't like his own mother which I'm sure is far from the truth. Publicising it is good for awareness to that awful disease as well

Using your mother is a bad thing

Even if he is publicising if for cynical reasons so what? If it's helping his mum that's a good thing. Anyway, I don't think he is because we'd probably have heard about it already. It wasn't even mentioned in his VT. So he's hardly splashing it round. I imagine he was probably just asked in an interview what he'd do with the money and he gave an honest answer

Should he have lied?

Why? a good deed is a good deed and donating money doesn't win shows for people anyway, if it did Duncan or Kieron would have won IAC

TBF....unless he walks he has the money in the bag. If he had to win to get the money then I can understand the thought process of 'using his mother' to win.
However, it's different in CBB, I don't think it makes any difference.... I think he is going to be 'the do-Gooder' because he probably is just a genuine nice and giving person...but that might start to grate on the public.

Ive never been a big fan of sad sob stories. Everyone these days have them because they think it gets them the sympathy vote. Personal problems are called ''personal'' because they are just that 'personal' so when they come out time after time, one has to believe that they might be being used as a tool to gain an advantyage. Now this may not be Johns motive, but he needs to reign it in with the heart on his sleeve type of stories just in case he gets tarred with the wrong brush.

Seeing as how he has been in 2 daileys already regarding his mum, I cant see that this release was a pure accident. I am siding with the fact that he has done it deliberately and this does not sit well with me. That's twice my x fav has disappointed me.

And wasnt she there last night in the crowd, not a good place to be taking someone with advanced alzheimers really.

So what are you saying now, that he's lying and she doesn't have Alzheimers? And yes of course he would have known that, I don't see the point you're trying to make? He wanted to look after his mom while he could probably, I don't know I'm not a bloody mind reader

Well if shes in the crowd watching him go in then her alzheimers hasnt progressed far enough for her to need expensive care in a hospice, maybe hes saving up i dont know. Maybe he needs the money to pay for her care while he spends a month away from her in the bb house. Who knows huh.

From the article :

She did live with us as a family, and in March of this year we felt that we could no longer meet her needs, and she moved into a facility

I love how you can decide how much care she may or may not need by the fact that she went to a show and they dared take her out of her care home though

From my experience once in a facility unfortunatly its a rapid decline from there and I'm shocked and surprised they would take her out of those surroundings to such a confusing and loud event, but i guess he needed the full effect of the awwww factor.

in civilian BB i can see it being an issue as it may sway people to make someone the winner, but all the celebs have to do is their time and they get their fee, they are not going to refresh their careers. I'm sure they all know that.

Did i say that she was that far gone? No, no i never. I said in my experience people go into a rapid decline once in the hospices.

But hey, its still a rather irresponsible place to be taking someone who suffers from this disease due to all the confusion and especially the loudness surrounding the event.

So shes either pretty far gone that he cant cope at home anymore so should be somewhere where she feels safe or shes not that far gone that shes needing a couple of hundred grand to pay for her care!
