Justin Bieber’s phenomenal success shows no signs of slowing down yet as he sets yet another massive Official Chart record this week.

The Canadian star occupies the entire Top 3 with Love Yourself logging a fifth week at Number 1, followed by Sorry at 2 and What Do You Mean at 3. It’s the first time an artist has ever achieved the feat, having previously hit the incredibly rare milestone of holding spots 1 and 2 with Love Yourself and Sorry.

Bieber’s success on the Official Singles Chart in recent months has been nothing short of phenomenal. Since the release of What Do You Mean back in September, he has held at least one position in the Top 5. And following the release of his latest album Purpose in November, eight of his songs entered the Top 40 – the most ever for a living artist. See Justin’s full UK chart history here. And he's got even more reason to celebrate – album Purpose has just knocked Adele off the top and gone to Number 1 in Ireland!

Not terribly hard nowadays when there's pretty much zero sales and half of the chart is decided by 13 year olds who listen to the same twenty songs on YouTube all year.

Of course he's at the top, everyone's too scared to release because's he's at the top so he just stays at the top, it's a vicious circle.

This is true to an extent but I still think it's an impressive accolade, his 13 year old fanbase or whatever couldn't flog most of his songs to a hit in the UK for years, really he's only had Boyfriend and Baby and maybe Eenie Meenie if you're going off all songs to have hit the top 10... this album campaign has had loads of crossover appeal to an audience outside of his usual fanbase and I think he's a really exciting male solo artist in a time when there are no others. I am a Belieber.
