CELEBRITY Big Brother descended into farce last night after it emerged that model Megan McKenna will be allowed to leave the house to do a photo-shoot.

And the show was plunged into further controversy when fans claim they spotted Kim Kardashian’s pal Jonathan Cheban holding a mobile phone.

A source said: “These things are totally against the rules but it shows how much power these celebrities have to do what they want. It makes a mockery of the show.”

Big Brother has always billed itself as a “social experiment-cum-game show”.

Viewers are led to believe that housemates are locked up for the duration of the series without any home comforts.

They are not permitted gadgets such as phones, iPads or TVs.

But we can reveal that on Monday, Channel 5 bosses are allowing Ex On The Beach beauty Megan, 23, to leave the house in Borehamwood, Herts, for a glamour shoot.

It is believed this will take place in London and is a prior commitment before she signed for CBB.

Bosses told Megan she can go ahead and it means she will rake in more cash on top of her rumoured £30,000 appearance fee.

In another controversy, eagle-eyed fans claim they saw US reality star Jonathan, 41, with a smartphone.

During a short burst of live footage from the house screened on the 5* side channel, Kim Kardashian’s pal was seen with a device in his hand.

But it was later revealed that it is in fact a LuMee – a new illuminated phone case which he has helped to promote in the US.

A source said: “He hates being parted from his phone, so this case is like a security blanket for him.”

Meanwhile, Megan incurred the wrath of Nancy Dell’Olio in a spat over a bottle of wine.

Megan thought the Italian diva had stolen a bottle of red for herself so she snatched it back.

But Nancy explained that she kept the wine back so everyone could toast Kristina Rihanoff’s baby news.

Nancy, 54, hissed at Megan: “You’re a little child. Never go in my space!”

In all fairness wine and other things have been found hidden in housemates lockers and under beds in the past. Nancy should (as suggested on BBBOTS tonight) have said I will keep aside a bottle to toast Christinas baby and then put it under her bed. Why didn't she tell the others? Nobody knows for sure why it was there. But I thought it was 'big' of Megan to apologise and tell her that she was sorry they took the wine. Nancy needs to grow up. She has gone down in my estimations and by the looks of twitter she is STILL talking about it

Let's be honest Megan shouldn't have been looking through Nancy's space or touching anything there. She should have asked her about the wine not gone and taken it. It doesn't matter why Nancy put it there, no one should have been in Nancy's personal space.

As to going out, none of them should be going out but I guess if she was already contracted to do it if they signed her late, what can they do?

Oh yeah, this was denied by Channel 5 a few days ago.

Reports that Megan McKenna will be leaving the Celebrity Big Brother 2016 house for a photoshoot today are untrue, Channel 5 has stated.

Over the weekend the Daily Star claimed that Megan would visit a London location today for a shoot that she had agreed to do prior to signing up for the show, going against its premise of no contact with the outside world.

However, a CBB spokesperson has told Digital Spy that the report is false.

They also provided a statement in regards to the mysterious device Jonathan Cheban has in the house. Viewers initially speculated that he had a mobile phone in the house, but it later turned out to be a phone case that he endorses.

It read: “Jonathan was holding a mobile phone case, something he took in as a personal item.”

While the outside contact rules may not have been broken in these instances, Channel 5 has refused to comment on rumours that John Partridge will be leaving the house on occasion to rehearse for his role in the upcoming Chicago stage tour.
