I don't necessarily agree with Winston's views and by what Jeremy was saying, I don't think he does either but I respect him for being the only one to evict Nancy.
And I do think he knew he would pretty much be alone in that decision.

I do, fair play

Nope
Yeah I do, I knew he would vote to evict Nancy and glad he never took the easy choice

Not really because it's not like he knew who everyone else was voting for.
Infact, I've lost more respect for him if anything - because how can Nancy be more vile than Winston?

No, he valued wine over human values.
Not when his reasoning was 'I'm basing this on stuff in the house' when so much of what Winston was so disliked for happened in the house

I think Winston allows others to give their opinions despite having slightly concerning views whereas Nancy doesn't let anyone speak

Yeah I do, he could easily have opted for the easy option (wouldn't blame him tbh) but decided to make his own mind up. I doubt the rest of the house will make a big thing out of it though

No, Jeremy really comes across to me in the highlight show, as someone who only thinks about himself and nobody else.
Selfish to the core.

Yes. He must have known the vote would be unanimously Winston, especially after hearing the crowds view.

I don't respect him because in doing so it was like he agreed with Winstons views. Oh I know he said he was judging him on what happened in the house but last night the whole house saw what Winston had said about gay people. If I was in there even if I had liked Winston and many of them HAD liked him I would evict him if it was a choice between him and a woman who hasn't done or said anything offensive since she went into the house

I don't begrudge him for voting in favour of his friend, everyone would.
But he's being a twat about Nancy on BOTS so I can't go as far to say I respect him.

He has gone right up in my estimations I must admit.
He looks like a twat but he might be a nice guy.

These idiots on BOTS saying Jeremy is just making things up now to justify his 'wrong' choice not to evict Winston. Erm...right

Yes, I admired him sticking to the fact he had issues with Nancy and not with Winston.
Far from doing him harm,I feel it will have done him a lot of good.

Of course he knew everyone would vote Winston, it was SO obvious. He could of took the easy route and voted for Winston to make things in the house easier for him but he went with what he believed so - fair play.

No. I couldn't respect anyone who would prefer to live with someone who thinks its child abuse for a gay couple to adopt a child over someone who hid a bottle of wine. It shows a shallowness of character.

I do. He most likely knew it wasn't going to be the popular opinion or that Winston was going to stay but instead of following the crowd, he followed his heart. I have a lot of respect for that kind of behaviour.

I must say it made me notice him more as an individual housemate.
Up until this point I've just sorta seen him as part of the young group of Steph, Megan and Scotty with none really standing out so far, they seem pretty similar to each other.
I actually thought Steph was going to nominate Nancy though and think if they hadn't heard the crowd reaction she might have.
Don't get me wrong, Nancy was the person I most wanted to stay tonight, I really like her as housemate so far and Winston was definitely the one I wanted to leave tonight and I still prefer Nancy as a housemate over Jeremy to date.
But I don't really see it as a terrible thing that Jeremy voted for who HE wanted to based on how he had been treated in the house by each of them.
I think he was vocal that he completely disagreed with Winston's views so I wouldn't say he condoned those views at all. I know that people can read it as that him choosing Nancy over Winston is in some way saying that Nancy is worse or that he somehow is condoning Winston, but I just don't personally view it that way myself.
I think he must have known the vast majority of housemates were going to nominate Winston and that he would be evicted anyways, but I think he wanted to make a point of choosing Nancy and getting off his chest his reasons because they really must not be getting along that well with each other or something.
I can see other people's points too though or how it can be argued in a different way, but just personally, it wouldn't particularly turn me against him, and it did show me that he might not be the sheep I kinda had him pegged as and is somebody who is not afraid to make their own decisions - even if he knew that decision could make some other housemates and the public turn against him or wouldn't be a popular decision.
I might not agree with his choice as I would personally have chose Winston if I was living there, but him nominating Nancy is not a huge deal to me.
All it did was make me take proper notice of him as a housemate for the first time really.

i had no problem with it and dont think he was on Winston's side about his views at all. i expected Angie to be one of the more real ones but her reason was she wanted to keep a lady. ok lol

I do. I don't care for Jeremy, Winston or Nancy, but it's good that he voted as he thought, instead of just following the crowd.

Yeah, after her rant about him I seriously doubt that was her actual reason. A prime example of a cop out nomination but I don't see anyone complaining about it, vice versa and you'd never hear the end of it.

No. Sometimes theres a clear right or wrong thing to do. Standing alone by doing the wrong thing isnt a commendable trait.

He nominated Nancy so he would have looked a bit of a twat if he then choose to evict Winston, he liked Winston more than Nancy, it is possible to like people without agreeing with their views.
