what is reaching and what is dragging

What is the meaning of all these new words.

Been away cause its off season and come back to a forum with all this new sayings.

Reaching is when someone seems to be clutching at straws, or making irrelevant/inflated claims to try and win an argument. And dragging, it's like if someone gets clocked for something, and then shown up in some way, they've been dragged.

Reaching someone or something ie: To "reach" someones hand when falling from a building. Or to reach someone to change his mind on something.

Dragging someone or something ie: To "drag" someone to hide them out of sight, when you have accidentally or intentionally knocked someone out/killed him or her. Or dragging a heavy object/thing on the ground on a purpose to move it forward.

I do know what they actually mean.
