This was the first C5 BB I had watched, and the first BB since I gave up during BB, I remember I was like "I forgot how much I love this show:D"
I miss the Kim-bot jokes!!

I tihnk it's because it's the one that "got me back into" BB.
I watched the Secrets + Lies on youtube after, and I agree that objectively it's a lot better, probably my favourite C5 series, but watching it when it's been on and you vaguely know who wins isn't the same!
BB13 > BB14 > BB15 though
I've not seen a single frame of BB13!

I actually quite liked BB15 tbh. It'd probs be thought of as a better series if Helen didn't win

I'm watching bb13 for the first time atm and it's excellent, you should give it a go. I've not seen bb15 yet, I've heard mixed reviews about it though.

I honestly loved BB15 to begin with. I loved the Dystopian-esque promo, the Power Trip idea was exciting, the graphics / production was all brilliant and I thought the launch was one of the best in years, it felt like the C4 days again imo.
The silly finale pass on Day 2 was stupid but it didn't massively take away from how into the series I felt. I even enjoyed the first few weeks as a whole, it wasn't until around Week 4 when it began to fall from grace, and when that started it was a continuing drop, ending with the most unsatisfying win I've ever seen and the series just left a really bad taste.
It's always a shame when a series that I felt had so much potential at the start turns into one of the worst series I've ever seen. </3

BB15 was the first series I watched in full, and so it will always be special in that respect. It's only since I've gone back and watched other series that I've realised how much better it could've been.
I'd actually take BB15 over what we got last year (post 4in4out ofc).

Why would you miss BB15? It was the beginning of the downfall of BB imho (too many pointless twists, constant shouting and arguing being classed as 'entertainment', being called a bore/fence sitter if you don't participate in arguments etc.)
It was the first series of BB I ever watched. It was really good at the start, but the first mistake was to randomly give the girls immunity and it was a chain of mistakes and manipulation after that. It was still better than BB16 though.

BIB: To be fair, that's not a new thing at all. I'm watching BB9 just now, and Jen and Bex couldn't stop slagging off the 'fence sitters'.

I hate BB15 more than most but I never thought that even its start was good lol. It's just a really dark, grimy, uncomfortable series filled with wayyyyy too many awful people. I actually prefer BB12 to it :o

The only good thing about BB15 was the eye, graphics, and the fact it's the only civilian BB on C5 to finish on a Friday (which is the way its supposed to be). Oh and the house design. Everything else about it was crap.

True but I feel it didn't become a big thing until Katie Hopkins kept calling Katie P/Keith fence sitters in CBB15 because they weren't part of her clique

BB15 was also when 'twists' became an everyday part of the format. I mean I know BB14 started the themes and twists, but they were kept to a minimum and weren't too nomination-based. The BB14 twists I thought were quite C4-esque such as the Safe House etc.

It was full of unlikable people too

It did happen in CBB15, but did it happen in BB16? :suspect:

Perhaps I am just looking at BB15 through rose-tinted specs as it was the one to which I lost my BB virginity, but I do think the first three weeks were good. I don't think the starting HMs were any worse on paper than any other series, and the launch night twists were fantastic IMO. The first week as a whole was great, and the house dynamics were really interesting.
I think the twists happened because they kind of needed to due to the theme. They needed a PHM each week, and for the first two weeks, they did it very well. Week 3 was OK too. I don't think the twists at the start were bad. But I can agree the twists were endless and draining from about Week 7 onwards - I personally was sick of them by then.

Ashleigh, Chris and Christopher were in BB15

This and BB16 are both the worst series on Channel 5 (and possibly ever) though..

They certainly do automatically go to the bottom due to the fact that they both *****ed up the format with the manipulation, favoritism and outside influence.

There were a bit too many "what does the public think/say about this person" in the last third or so.
