So obviously when you're posting on really active threads it's hard to see or remember where you posted and if you posted at 1 page and it's up to page 15 how will I know if someone has quoted me.
I'm just wondering how I turn notifications on so I can see when someone has quoted my post since I'm new here.

who cars who quotes you?
One example, if someone posts a question, someone might quote it to answer it (like this :smug:). If there's loads of posts happening in the same thread then that could be easily missed. A notification would just be something that's useful to have wouldn't it.
Also, if someone wants you to clarify something in your post, they might quote it and ask you a question about it. For example, "what do cars have to do with this thread? Please clarify and expand."

On another forum I went on it if you posted 2 replies in a row it would automatically join into one.

You can search (search by posts not thread) your username and it'll show your posts and who has replied to them
So obviously when you're posting on really active threads it's hard to see or remember where you posted and if you posted at 1 page and it's up to page 15 how will I know if someone has quoted me.
