Jeremy McConnell tells Stephanie Davis he sees her as more than a friend

Things got VERY awkward between Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis in the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight.


As part of a task designed pretty much purely to stir up drama, Big Brother set the housemates a game where they had to identify quotes read out by Big Brother to the housemates who said them.

One was from Scotty T and concerned Stephanie being 'tempted' by Jeremy, which she outright denied.

"We are really good mates," she reacted. "It's a game, I've made a fantastic friend in Jeremy.

"We're best mates, I absolutely love him to bits but I am like a loyal dog to my boyfriend and he's the one I'm going to marry."

Stephanie added: "There's no temptation there and I wouldn't do anything in a million years. We know what we are."

HOWEVER Big Brother then read out a quote from Jeremy about Stephanie: "It's more than friends, it's obvious."

"Explain yourself bud," remarked Stephanie.

Jeremy said: "I just feel when me and Steph are hanging out, there's friends and then there's... I just think it's overstepped that mark a little bit.

"It certainly isn't in my eyes just friends, the way I see it, it goes over the top a little bit, that's just my honest answer."

Stephanie's reaction is sure to be interesting...
