Which celebs HAD you heard of before this season began?

The only names I recognized were Tiffany and Jonathan Cheban.

Likely has to do with the fact that I'm not British; therefore, I'm not as familiar with British television.

Which HMs were you familiar with prior to the launch?

I'd assume certain people like Angie Bowie were unfamiliar to everybody, but did you "know" the other HMs?

I'd heard of Daniella Westbrook's name but didn't know who she was/what she did and I know Stephanie Davis because we went to the same high school and there was posters of her plastered everywhere when she was on the Over the Rainbow show but I hadn't heard of her since then. Other than that the rest of the cast were unknown to me!!

edit: oh and I knew about Tiffany because of the campaign on here to get her on CBB that ran for like two years :laugh:

I technically "knew" John Partridge because I had seen the "Cats" movie; though, I didn't even find out he was Rum-Tum-Tugger until a couple of days ago (after I had already started disliking him).

The only one I was really familiar with was Megan as I have watched her in a previous reality show so I knew a bit about her personality.

John is extremely recognisable to me but only as "Christian from Eastenders" because I never knew his real name or have watched anything about him outside of eastenders.

Gemma I only recognise because she was on the panel on BOTS a few times. I never watched the jungle programme or Towie.

Darren Day I recognised his name and face but had no idea what he was famous for or anything else about his life. I just vaguely recall his name and picture in old magazines being listed as somebody's ex.

Daniella I never watched in Eastenders when she was on it so didn't know her from that, and didn't know anything about her except she was the woman who took a a lot of coke and part of her nose came off. I remember that tabloid picture clearly.

David Gest - I only recognised him as a familiar face and name but know nothing else about his career or life.

Nancy I recognise as being the one who was the beautiful wife of some football manager. Regularly saw her in magazines in the past for pictures of her looking great for her age in a bikini, or something glamorous she was wearing, those types of articles or pictures. I knew nothing else about her at all.

Never heard of the rest of them probably because I've never watched the programmes they've been on like Towie, or Kardashian show, Tiffany's show or Jungle programme, and haven't followed any of the soaps in a few years so didn't know Steph, also only ever watched about 1 or 2 series of X Factor so didn't know Christopher either. I know nothing about models so not a chance I would know Jeremy, and I don't know much about Bowie's past so never heard of Angie.

Still 7 out of 16 being recognisable to me is not too bad, better than other years! :)
