He was likable enough I think, he was never nasty or malicious. But did he have a "journey" in him to make interesting viewing? Would he have done something else to earn the HMs' and public's dislike?

I'm not sure he seemed quite popular in the house, so I think he could have gotten to the end.

Non-offensive guys who are passably attractive in their late teens/twenties do seem to coast.
