The big teams let him slip away 18 premier lee goals in 1 season with a team who was relegated yet non of the big teams wanted him

He's nowhere near a top PL striker though so just going for his past statistics in the hope he somehow recreates them is a little desperate.

But he can be a impact striking of the bench and a very good backup

As if Falcao would do better. He might be on loan from Monaco but he's been a waste at 2 big clubs. Austin would outscore him. Rooney's on £260k a week and bar a few easy goals this last fortnight has done sweet FA. Given TLC and faith there's no reason why Austin could not be a Vardy/ Kane type English striker. Just because a player is from abroad it doesn't mean they will be good or suit EPL

I was stunned not a single EPL club bar West Brom went for Austin as back up when QPR became relegated. He's a classic 12 - 15 goals a season type player. Last season might not have not been a blip. To score 19 goals - only behind Kane, Costa and Aguero is an amazing feat, especially playing along side QPR's oldies, past their best and all round crap players. QPR could have got £15m for him last summer. When Aston Villa go down they should definitely sell Grielish and get a good deal on him.

Why are top clubs persuing Beharino rather than Austin?

Can't believe none of the big clubs wanted him.
I would take Austin over Rooney any day.
But then again LVG has an amazing talent for making good players go bad, so probably for the best.

Where will Rooney end up. His contract I understand has 2 seasons. He's clogging upma chunk of wage bill. I would not want to join Manchester as a good striker knowing WR is on £250k week.

Who will buy him, take his wage demands? Return to Everton? Middle East? Mls?

I was shocked at this until I realised QPR have no chance of going up and he's out of contract in the summer, had they still been in the race there's no chance in hell they've had sold even for 15m
