By the way Nicky it's obvious you have become a big fan of Janet, Yey!!
I love that so many people are voting for her as I have always seen so much potential in her
Amelia Little Mix and Alexandra are popular too so I'm glad
I need to work more on Cher though as she is slipping under the radar

Little Mix - My girls! I think this was quite a brave choice for you and I hope the voters get behind you for taking a risk and trying something different!
Alexandra Burke - Alexandra, I love you but I felt this was a little weak, this is rock week you could have done something much edgier with the theme and gone for a real classic rock song to show your range.
Jack Walton - I like your voice and I think it fit the song well but I feel like I have heard it all before and done to a much higher standard, I think you could be in trouble this week but best of luck.
Sharon Murphy - Sharon that right up my street! I loved it and sang right along with you! Best of luck with the vote!
Amelia Lily - A great performance! I must confess to not being a fan of the song but the fact you sang it and had me smiling to to your credit. I think you will fly through to the next round.
Luke Friend - I felt like this was too country and nor enough rock. I found it quite dull.
Tyler Hudson - A brave choice yet again! I enjoyed this a lot and hope you pick up enough votes to continue.
Cher Lloyd - WOW! amazing vocals, I felt every word and you gave your best performance to date. I don't really think it fit the theme though.
Reggie & Bollie Boys! Boys! Boys! I love your energy and enthusiasm! I hope people vote to keep you around we have some great ideas to work on!
Janet Devlin - I enjoyed this, I thought you would struggle with the theme with such a delicate voice but you really pulled it out of the bag and made this into something memorable, well done!
Sarah Cassidy - I like your voice but I really don't think this was your week at all, the song was lifeless and about as rocky as a ball of wool. I hope you survive but please take more risks!
My votes this week go to:
Little Mix
Sharon Murphy
Cher Lloyd
Miss Frank
Reggie & Bollie

well thank you for this feedback, Sarah's song is my favourite from the corrs, but if she survives i'll take some more risks, Tyler is my dark horse to victory, steadily going week by week, and finally Sharon did a great song

Little Mix- Wow! I think this song worked so well for you, we had lots of fun picking a song for this weeks theme, there were so many that suited you. But I think this showed your youthful pop side and I'm glad we went with this song. It was performed brilliantly. You know I love you girls and it was great working with you I really miss you girls. But keep it up I honestly think you may win this whole show
Reggie n Bollie- I'm unsure this week lads. I think the song was rather strange. It's your style of song obviously, but it's not the rock song I would have wanted you to do. I think this week you could have shown a new exciting side to you. Unfortunately I think it was too safe and I don't know if it's going to see you through. I don't mean to be so harsh but you really need to step it up from now on as your against some tough competition
Miss Frank- I love fleetwood Mac and I think you girls did a decent job. I would however like to see the modern edge to you come through, you girls have the potential to really stand out not only can you vocalise in harmony really well but you have the rap ability too, you have the potential to really deliver something mind blowing, I'm hoping you get a song to show this off next time. But you did a good job
Luke Friend- I liked your performance again, as I keep staying I think out of everyone your the most current you could compete in the music industry, your ready, your an artist. However as artists should always do you need to take a risk to show originality, at the moment your a decent cover artist, it's time to be unique
Jack Walton- My favourite performance of yours by a clear mile. I think you will be through this week. However I don't think you stand out enough. The competition will get tough from this moment on, make sure you aren't forgotten
Tyler Hudson- I really enjoy your performances I think you are so different to everyone else. Wasn't quite sure on the song choice for rock week but you have done enough to see you through
Sharon Murphy- Wow! That was perfect! Who knew that you were a rock diva! I loved it
Sarah Cassidy- This isn't a rock song. The corrs are not a rock band. I'm willing to overlook that though as I have always liked this song and I think you sang it beautifully, I really do prefer you doing ballads as at time you can come across as cheesy. I'm unsure if you have done enough to pick up votes as it was a little bit forgettable but I liked it
Alexandra- Girl I'm so so sorry. I didn't pick the right song for you. I'll hold my hands up and say this was entirely my fault. I struggled with you this week and on reflection we shouldn't have gone for a ballad. You might be in danger this week and I apologise for that. There wasn't anything wrong with your vocals though. Please if you have enjoyed Alexandra's performances so far, overlook this week and give her some votes
Cher- I know how nervous you have been this week as this was a little bit out of your comfort zone. You didn't need to worry though that was exceptional, for me that was the standout performance of the night
Amelia- I absolutely love working with you. Nearly every song suits you, your so easy to work with. I loved this performance I think it was one of your best. Your a star
Janet- aww Janet that reduced me to tears. It was beautiful. You meant every single word of that song. What a beautiful version. Your fast becoming the dark horse of the competition, like Luke I think you have that artist quality about you and I'm hoping with the songs im picking for you im showing people this quality
This week was a tricky theme. I thought it would be easy but I think I struggled to pick the right songs. However so think all my girls have it there best shot
I vote for
Little Mix
Sharon Murphy
Jack Walton

Can I just ask how was Sarah safe? No one voted for her and you and Amy Jade both voted miss Frank. It should have been Tyler vs Sarah

Anyway the song choices for the overs are
Tyler: House of the rising Sun by the animals (White Buffalo version)
Sharon: Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics
Sarah: Purple rain by Prince(Kelly Clarkson version)

I save Tyler. He is more potential and brings something different so Tyler is my choice
12. Miss Frank ( gutted for Amy Jade)
13. Mason Noise
14. Leo Ihanacho
15. Poisonous Twins
16. Sam Callahan

in the real x factor, you also have shock sing off's right
well Amy wasn't really allowed to vote for Miss Frank, as it was her own group, her other groups however recieved lots of other votes.

nice song choices Jake
i'll give feedback
Tyler: thank you for this challenging song, Jake now hopefully we can see his potential
Sharon: good song, familiar song as well, and it could suit her voice
Sarah: I expect to see something more from her, and a difficult song, but Jake you were right i was expecting her to be in the sing off the last time.
but some good song choices, how do you think are mine for your girls
Amelia: Dark Horse by Katy Perry
Alexandra: Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri
Cher: Call Your Girlfriend by Robyn
Janet: Friday I'm in Love by The Cure

i really hope Ammi signs on as a mentor, and as i wrote to her, if she accepts, she'll give Little Mix and Reggie N Bollie their songs
if that is okay with you, Amy
and also betting odds:
Amelia Lily 9/4
Tyler Hudson 2
Alexandra Burke 2
Janet Devlin 2
Little Mix 7
Luke Friend 7
Sharon Murphy 7
Reggie N Bollie 9
Jack Walton 9
Cher Lloyd 9
Sarah Cassidy 100/1
so Amelia is the favourite to win, followed by Tyler, Alexandra, Janet and Little Mix
Nicky91

alright for this one time i'll give the groups their songs, but i hope Ammi signs as a mentor.

I'm unsure on the song choices for my girls Nicky and I think they will be in danger this week
Amelia: Dark Horse. I can't fault this choice I love Katy Perry and think this song will suit Amelia really well. So good choice
Alexandra: Jar of hearts. I don't like this song. It was overplayed way too much and I think people are too familiar with it. Plus it is a bit stripped back for Alexandra I don't think it will play to her strengths
Cher: Call your girlfriend. Quite the opposite of Alexandra's song choice, in the sense that I don't think a lot of people will know the song, it's the first time I have heard it. This may Ho against her as people might not vote for the fact they don't know the song. It's a good song I like it and I can see why you have picked it for Cher but the fact it's not very well known may put her in danger
Janet: I love nearly all of Janets covers. But I don't like her cover of this which is why I haven't picked her to sing it so far. It's not a great song anyway and I don't think it suits her. I really fear for Janet this week
But we will see how the girls rise to the challenge

well I did give your girls some challenges
Janet: well i like this song, and she needs to do something more fun and happy
Cher: why wouldn't the people vote for her if they don't know the song, she just needs to sing it right, and she'll be fine
Alexandra: i want to challenge her with a non-diva song, and show how versatile she really is
Amelia: she's a title contender, and I'm glad you like the song i've given her

14-02-2016, 05:55 PM
1. Alexandra Burke
I like this song but I feel it doesn't suit your powerhouse voice so it's a bit of a lackluster performance for me, I was just waiting for you to hit it out of the park and it never came.
2. Jack Walton
I picked this for you because I knew it would push you and your voice and I think you did a great job :clap1:
3. Sharon Murphy
I actually don't like his version of the song at all, I wish you had taken it in a darker direction and vamped it up. Not your best, sorry.
4. Little Mix
Yesssss! Performance of the show, flawless!
5. Tyler Hudson
I wish I could give you good feedback because I think you need it this week after being bottom two but I hated everything about that. I didn't enjoy the song at all and I found the outfit and staging totally cheesy. You are in real trouble this week I think.
6. Cher Lloyd
Another cheesy performance, I thought the song was a good choice but the outfit and staging was awful. Sorry.
7. Janet Devlin
Loved this! Great song choice and an amazing vocal. I do feel you are the weakest girl left though, the others have shown so much personality and I feel like you are flying under the radar not making as much impact.
8. Luke Friend
Your best performance so far, I picked this because I knew you could make it your own. Great job!
9. Reggie & Bollie
You guys are just pure fun! Everyone is on their feet with you the entire time you are on stage! You deserve to stay in after that performance!
10. Sarah Cassidy
A brave song choice and I commend you for taking a risk - however, I measure any Purple Rain performance to Ruth Lorenzo...you were good but not great.
11. Amelia Lily
Fantastic way to close the show! This song is appropriate for you too because I see you as the dark horse of the series.

My Feedback, for a first time:
Tyler - you did a great job with a Iconic song, never thought you could sing like that, however what Amy said, you could be in trouble though
Sharon - where Amy doesn't like this song, she's right about it, but i liked seeing a more uptempo song for you
Sarah - this song was perfect for you, time to get rid of the cheesy songs for you, and start giving you some contemporary classics
------------------------
Amelia - I LOVED IT, and i'm proud of picking this Katy song for you
Alexandra - I wanted to show a more acoustic side of you, rather than the Diva side, which you dominate for sure
Cher - I think you did a great job, and you look good in the voting i guess
Janet - This was a side i wanted to see from you, your Happy and Fun side, instead of those beautiful elegant ballads, and you sang great
---------------------------
Luke - nice song, so thank you Amy for picking FourFiveSeconds, you are a unique acoustic singer
Jack - Good song, a little safe because you can do better
--------------------------
Little Mix - Perfection, flawless vocals
Reggie N Bollie - Party performance, and i liked the titanic part

Ok my feedback
Wow this really was a strong week for everyone. Great job
To my girls
Alexandra: what a way to open the show. I was hesitant about this song as its really stripped back and it exposes your vocals more. It requires exceptional vocal control and my oh my do you have that. I want to thank Nicky for this song. It really showed how great a singer you are, and maybe we should look into this style of music with you a bit more. Excellent
Amelia: I don't know what else I can keep saying about you. Your the one to beat, you have this competition in your hand and it's yours to lose. Just keep on going strong. Another amazing performance
Cher: I'm sorry I wasn't keen on this. I don't like the song and I think it exposed you too much. It was pitchy in places and your nerves were showing. I don't think the set and look suited the song but that's not your fault. I didn't enjoy it Cher I'm sorry, I'm starting to struggle with you. You started off great in this competition and I'm thinking I'm starting to lose my way with you a bit. So your the one I'm going to work really hard on next week
Janet: Not my favourite song but you sang it lovely. Yeah it was nice to see a more cheerful side of you and I'm going to look into this more but great job
The boys
Luke: I loved the song choice it is definitely the lane you should be leaning towards as its less copycat than the other performances you have done, I liked it
Jack: My favourite performance of yours, such a current song and it shows where you fit in the music industry I think it was a stand out performance which is what you needed
The groups
Little mix: I just love you girls. That was sheer perfection. Honestly it was flawless and you all looked great! The reason I didn't vote for you girls this week is because you don't need them your not going anywhere your so popular and your contenders
Reggie n Bollie: well thank goodness for this performance I was starting to worry about you guys the past couple of weeks, but this was great I loved it
The overs
Tyler: I have always loved this song, the whole message of the song is such a great story and this version of it was haunting and the type of music I can see you releasing my favourite performance of yours and your becoming one of my favourites in the competition
Sharon: I think this showed a new side to you, it was honestly great, I want you to steer more towards this style of music as I think it suits you however Nicky knows what he is doing with you as I have enjoyed your performances the last few weeks
Sarah: I'm glad I picked this song for you this is the type of music that shows your vocal range. However I do think your now the weakest left. I do think you deserve to go through to next week but if you will get the votes I'm not sure

Can I just say with this jukebox theme I really do think it would work best if we as mentors as well as the people on here that vote to pick which songs the contestants should do, we really need to open it up to the public. That's the true nature of jukebox. But if you want to do just mentor picking then we need to swap it round Nicky as I have helped out your overs a couple of times now and you have helped my girls, if it is mentor only I think I should pick which songs the boys do, Amy Jade picks which song my girls do, you pick what the groups do and whoever is going to mentor the boys should pick what your overs will do. Otherwise it's just song swap part 2

01 Janet Devlin
This was a slightly different side to you, it showed a more rock side. I do think you will make it to the final. I think your very versatile and I plan on picking a cheery song for 80s week. I do think this is the type of music you would release though
02 Tyler Hudson
Very good song choice, it made you very current and marketable. I think you have turned a corner in this competition I feel you are a contender now and definitely the strongest over
03 Luke Friend
That was amazing. Such a perfect song choice it really suited you, you even out your own twist on it, well done Luke
04 Alexandra Burke
Anyone who dares to cover Adele and delivers it so perfectly deserves a standing ovation. In fact I think you have shown you deserve a place in the final. I feel you are vocally the strongest in this competition
05 Reggie N Bollie
My favourite of yours because it wasn't cheesy. It's a really good choice the public made. This is the avenue you should stick to. Keep the party vibe but make sure you aren't cheesy. Great job this time in glad I saved you
06 Sarah Cassidy
Love the song. I'm a huge Katy Perry fan and you did the song justice. It honestly is your best performance yet
07 Amelia Lily
I am struggling to find any more words to compliment you than I already have throughout this competition. You haven't given a bad performance yet and your getting better and better. I wouldn't have thought that was even possible. Out of everyone I feel you could have the most success not only here in the uk but around the world
08 Cher Lloyd
Wow Cher I think we got it right this time it suited you so well. I think this has brought you back on course. Your definitely this type of performer and I think you may pick up a lot of votes this time. Fantastic
09 Jack Walton
Ok it was a little bit slow for my liking but it was good, I think you will be safe. I want to see something completely different for 80s week from you. There is a lot of songs in the 80s that will be good for you and I think next week will be your week so I hope you make it through
10 Little Mix
Aww I loved that. You girls are so lovely and likeable and you are going to make it huge honestly. Probably my favourite performance of the night apart from my girls obviously
My votes this week will go to

Nicky is right...I found that so dull and uninspiring, it felt like it went nowhere at all. I like your voice but I think you need to do something with a bit of power behind your voice.
Reggie & Bollie
Flawless! you boys doing an R. Kelly song is beautiful. Thank you for blessing us with that song, you should be safe this week!
Tyler Hudson
I think you have a good voice but I detest that song! so overplayed and I think the rapping was a little embarrassing. Sorry.
Alexandra Burke
Another song I find seriously overrated, although your voice was outstanding. Alex you are better than the song to be honest.
Luke Friend
I loved this! it fit your voice beautifully and I felt every word...you get my vote this week!
Sarah Cassidy
I enjoyed this a lot, you shocked me this week as I thought you could be in trouble but you really came through!
Amelia Lily
I love this song, Kelly Clarkson is an amazing vocalist and you did well with this but was it your best? No.
Little Mix
Performance of the week! Don't need to say anything because that was flawless :worship:
Jack Walton
I am really pleastently impressed! that is arguably the best you've performed this whole competition!
Cher Lloyd
Well...I am a big Ariana fan and I was looking forward to this but honestly this highlighted how weak your voice can be, you couldn't reach those hight notes and frankly this was a mess.

so definite choices for Sunday's liveshow for my overs
Tyler Hudson - When You Say nothing at all by Keith Whitley
Well Nicky I didn't even know this song wasn't originally by Ronan Keating so you learn something new every day, it's a nice song and it suits the country style however I think it is too safe and I wish you went with your original choice
Sarah Cassidy - Every Breath You Take by The Police
This is a good choice. In fact I was going to give this song to Cher and have her to the P.Diddy I'll be missing you version but you pipped me to the post. I think it will really suit Sarah and there are some good cover versions of this song, my favourite version is every car you chase the snow patrol vs police song. Maybe see if that would suit Sarah?
Jack Walton - Gold by Spandau Ballet
Perfect. Really suits him. Try and find a slight twist on it though as you don't want to play it safe
Tyler and Sarah a duet with the song Running up that hill by Kate Bush
I think Tyler will struggle with the high notes on this song, it will suit Sarah though
and the three of them will be singing Karma Chameleon by Culture Club
Love that song. I was close to giving it to Janet but I couldn't find a version that suited her
It's going to be another tough week all the song choices are great. I fear for my girls this week, I'm unsure on Chers song but I honestly couldn't find any 80s song that suited her

well it's a safe song for Tyler, i know that, but with his sore throat i mind i couldn't give him a difficult song, but hopefully he can bring the emotion what comes with this song.
your girls have good songs, Janet is gonna own this week i think, we look at the song choice

Nicky I have some backstage drama for you
Cher Lloyd has expressed to me quite a few times that she isn't happy singing fame. She doesn't think it shows who she is as an artist and thinks it's cheesy and old fashioned. I like it and I think it will show her in a different light but I do listen to my acts. I want them to be comfortable on stage. So we have changed our song at the last minute, we are singing Cher Lloyds version of just be good to me. She has written a few lines for herself to rap and we are going to go for a bit of a rock look, it'll look very 80s but very cool 80s and Cher is hard at work now as we speak getting her dance routine right
As for Amelia and Janets duet, Janet is nervous about singing against such a strong voice so we have been in singing rehearsals today getting the harmonies just right and I have told Amelia to strip it back just a little bit
As for Alexandra and Chers duet that's also changed. Cher felt bad that she decided not to perform a song I loved and she feels it's a song that will suit Alexandra so they have compromised for me and decided to sing it as a duet, so their duet is now naturi naughtons fame, the lyrics suit what basically is a battle or sing off song so that's the performance they are going for to try and sing and outperform each other and look sassy but really they are really good friends
The group performance is very good, it's very 80s but it's a song that suits lots of different styles and we have made sure each one of them stands out. I think it could be a highlight of the night
Alexandra's solo performance is set to be amazing, she was worried people may say she is cheating by mixing it with a recent song, but I reassured her that it's about time we had a mashup. Also it shows how good a singer she is but at the same time she can perform and move around the stage with this one
Janets solo performance is good she is very confident and she loves the song, she likes that it's upbeat she is a bit worried about dancing but I think on the night she'll be good and the dancers around her will make up for that anyway
Amelia's solo performance is also amazing she rivals Blondie herself, she is fierce, she is going for a leather outfit(think Olivia Newton John) and her hair will be a messy look, she will be doing a lot of dancing, basically I think it will be the biggest performance of the night
So yeah a few problems here and there but I think my girls are set now
Nicky91

some news updates from my team, all is going well in rehearsals
Tyler had a sore throat beginning of the week, so we had to change to the slower When you say nothing at all, but rehearsals are going good, he's quite confident about performing this song, and he hopes to deliver the emotions needed with this song
Sarah could be delivering her biggest performance yet in this competition, it's a difficult song to make it your own, but i'm confident about her singing it
and Tyler and Sarah, also perform so well in duet
i'm a proud overs coach so far in rehearsals

alright, our 80's liveshow
first up, it's Reggie N Bollie with the song Thriller by Michael Jackson
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V90AmXnguw
Nicky's comment: well the performance was again predictable, i just wish you guys did something different with the song, i find it boring, dull and if you want to smash an Iconic song like this, you need to have great vocal qualities, which you guys lack, disappointing
Nicky91
28-02-2016, 07:36 AM
up next, it's Cher Lloyd with the song Just be Good to me by SOS Band
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9YQ5-Ffx-8
Nicky's comment: well a good performance, your rapping is already iconic, and the song change was a good choice, a little safe but overall a good performance, well done Cher

up next, it's Sarah Cassidy with the song Every Breath You Take by The Police

up next, it's Luke Friend with the song Sweet Child O'Mine by Guns N Roses

Nicky's comment: Luke, i like your acoustic music, this is way too karaoke for me, and please next week come back with an acoustic song

28-02-2016, 07:41 AM
up next, it's Little Mix with the song Heaven is a place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle

up next, it's Janet Devlin with the song Let's Hear it for the boys by Deniece Williams

Nicky's comment: thank you Jake, for going back to the sweet side of Janet, girl you rock
Nicky91
28-02-2016, 07:46 AM
up next, it's Jack Walton with the song Gold by Spandau Ballet
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntG50eXbBtc
Nicky's comment: i'm starting to lose you, who are you as a singer Jack, i want to hear something unique from you, and i'm not getting that from you, just another karaoke performance
Nicky91
28-02-2016, 07:48 AM
up next, it's Alexandra Burke with the song mashup of Like a Prayer and Take me to Church by Madonna&Hozier
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v37UgzwIAG8
Nicky's comment: Unique, and a Diva performance good job Jake selecting this mashup :clap2:

28-02-2016, 07:50 AM
and our final solo performance, it's Tyler Hudson with the song When you say nothing at all by Keith Whitley
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GpXYKp7_Qw
Nicky's comment: well Amy Jade, this performance was especially for you, and for me you delivered the emotion with this song, and if you make it to next week, i'll have another uptempo song for you, more of a challenge
but for me * Standing Ovation *
