What happened to Brighton FC?

I know the championship race is tight and very competitive, Brighton were flying, unbeaten for ages, hardly conceding , scoring left right centre , topping table with relative ease.

Now they lie #5 just 2 points above Sheffield Wednesday. One defeat and wins for table rivals will see them slip out of a play off place. I know Middleboro, Hull and co have been winning but Brighton are getting beat by bottom clubs now. What's happening?
