Sort of random, but:
1. Are they able to bring a book/books?
2. Are they able to bring a notebook, paper, or anything for writing/journaling?
I would assume probably not because that could be used for passing secret notes and stuff.
3. Is there an exercise room or a gym thing of any sort? How do they get exercise if they need to? I would imagine that being cooped up for all that time would make you pack on some pounds.
4. Do they ever have any time when cameras aren't on? I'm not talking about specific locations like the toilets, but like . . . a time of day when they're not under surveillance?

Thank you! Damn, that makes things really boring.

I bet it was a condition of Gemma's contract that there be no gym in there.:joker:
1. Most of the housemates they get have never picked up a book in their lives
2. Nasty Nick is unique
3. They were gonna have a gym, but Gemma refused to enter if they didn't take it away
4. The hours in-between rehearsal and showtime

There hasn't been a gym for CBB since CBB11 in 2013, I believe.

I'm sure they mentioned it this week on CBB17 about the gym. I think there is one but we never see it :conf:

First of all, it should be made clear that Channel 5 have never published the rules since it moved from Channel 4.
1) As far as we're aware, no.
2) Again, as far as we're aware, no. However, certain contestants have been allowed certain privileges with work commitments in recent times (Katie Hopkins was allowed to write her Sun column in the house, Perez was given outside information to record his radio show, Sam Faires was allowed to continue writing her OK! column etc. but not in the main house).
3) In the past Channel 5 have built a gym in the house, however there hasn't been one for the past couple of series.
4) The cameras roll 24/7 (but not in the toilets).

Are you sure it wasn't that spinning task they had a couple of days ago? Because I'm pretty sure we'd know if there was a gym. I don't get why they would hide it from the viewers, when it's part of the house and it would probably be released alongside the house pictures like it was with CBB11 and other CBB series which had gyms. But then again, I wouldn't put it past C5 to hide things from viewers (CBB15), but I don't understand why they'd hide the fact there is a gym
