Yes :flutter:

But I have to ask...on rewatch. Did you relate more to the parents or the teens in that series..
Cause the whole Mom Dad storyline and how they relate to their daughter seems to me would play differently in my head today

Oh I definitely could relate to them alot more, I think I didn't take too much notice of what was going on with them originally. And also my daughter is 15 now so I was looking at the kids and thinking about her more than myself which is what I would have been doing first time round.

Agree with 3 out of 4 of those. Although not brilliant, LOTR films I do like. You can't can't beat the books over the films though. Most films get changed so much from book to film and not for the better, just some over egotistical producers who think they know better.

All the other aforementioned films on this thread I agree with being overrated.

Pulp Fiction - Honestly gave the movie a chance and i just don't get the hype. Don't get me wrong I didn't hate it, it was funny at times and isn't **** or anything but over all it wasn't really a stand out movie to me.

I was told this was so scary and amazing so I watched it and it was honestly so boring :joker: not scary in the slightest, hugely overrated

Also It Follows, it creeped me out for the first 20 mins then it was just really dull for the rest of the film

We've recently watched the whole of Pretty Little Liars on Netflix (which is ridiculous but oddly enjoyable in a soapy way), having never watched it before, and far too often found ourselves agreeing with the parents on certain things where I'm sure youre supposed to be siding with the girls...

Like the one shagging her teacher! He's in his mid 20's and she's only 16! I'm sure it's supposed to be some great forbidden love thing but we were like "No! Get your grubby hands off her, she's JUST A BABY you pervert! You have a duty of care!!" :joker:... and when her parents find out and are horrified we were like "Quite right! Get him put in jail, dirty paedo..."

Srsly she's the youngest looking / babyfaced and most childlike seeming of all of them. It's quite disturbing.

I am very glad my daughter does not make me watch that show, but I guess it could be a conversation starter...as in... So hey, what do you think about sleeping with your teacher?? :hehe:

In Canada we have Degrassi for those conversations..

Pretty Little Liars almost got me hooked but I got to episode 3 and cancelled my netflix for a while and never went back to the show... It's such a **** show but I can see how someone gets hooked I'm so lucky I got out of it unscathed.
