Over the last 3 series 7 housemates have either walked or been ejected 6 of which were American so should we cut back on American housemates as clearly they struggle the most?

Just a coincidence. And the Americans bring the most entertainment. And David had a very good reason to leave.

Yes. Most of them turn out to be screaming idiots. Put some normal Americans in by all means but less of the knobheads.

The same could be said about every other housemate of every other nationality too.

The Americans are fine its the god awful reality show twats that have no respect for anyone but demand it for themselves , they ruin every CBB

No - they're brilliant. I mean, look at the likes of Janice Dickinson and Perez Hilton. Those series wouldn't have been as great without them. What they need to do is stop putting dullards in (which in most cases aren't the Americans).

Actually, I think 70% of the 3m people who tuned into CBB15 would agree that it would've been an even better series had Perez not been a housemate.

No because Tiffany, Janice, Farrah, Jenna and this year's Americans are recent proof that they make the show

David Gest being dead in bed was more entertaining than 80% of the Brit housemates entire lives.

19-01-2016, 08:55 PM
david got sick, cant blame him for leaving, angie is old and couldn't sleep so I give her a break, jonathan walking is annoying cause he was really funny. but, no. keep Americans in

Agreed. Do you consider Winston and Megan representatives of every British person? No. I would hope not. Then you can't slag off an entire country, especially a diverse melting pot country like the U.S., based on the actions of certain people.

I'd say that's because of cultural differences/clash that make it harder for them to adjust.

No. Like most of the other people said, Americans usually bring the most entertainment value and are most likely to naturally influence the dynamics of the house. Getting rid of them would make for a far more dire show

Could not stand him.
Like him or loathe him he was epic and his weirdness provided much entertainment.
And thats like many american celebs whove been in it.
'Yeah' Jackie
Coolio
Perez
(to name 3 very memorable ones in CBB history)
Even this year
Angie, Jonathan and David were far more eccentric and interesting than the zlist reality fodder that passes for british 'celebrities'
I mean we have a few jobbing soap actors, an couple of ex actors who got hooked on drugs and a bunch of reality 'stars' oh and that homophobic bloke
No keep the americans please. Pay them more if needed so they stay if anything

I just found him annoying, but a lot of that is bitterness because he actually won.
Not keen on Jackie or Coolio, and absolutely hated Perez.
However... loved David, Jonathan, and quite liked Angie too. So I don't think nationality has anything to do with it. But this year, the Americans have been strong overall.

But bugger me without him that year would have been dull.
Hated Coolio and Jackie as well, but same deal

Too is spelt with two O s . I don't think it;s about the num of them,it's about the quality of them so i wouldn't put trash in like Farrah or Tiff, that'd avoid the unpleasant sight of s c u m like that always getting worshipped by the crowd at evictions.
Though of course I wouldn't have more than 3 or 4 in.Thank goodness Trump or someone like him didn't apply before trying to be President of course. The crowd would worship and adore s c u m like that.

20-01-2016, 08:36 AM
no, they should keep putting Americans in because they do drive the show,... but they need to stop driving them out of the house! why are british people always so cruel to the Americans???
i think it's jealousy because british children are taught that Britain was the major world power and so they are all jealous that now America is the major world power. i definitely think it is political.

We need celebs from other countries aswell in my opinion Europe must have some very sassy characters!
Aww remember the days we thought CBB should only be British? Why did we think that?

I don't like Americans on CBB, they just put novelty stereotype ones in. They deliberately seek out ones with a cringe factor so that everyone can pretend that they are shocked by Americans. The 'Ooh, aren't they odd?' factor. It's a self-fulfilling gimmick.
Whenever an American is cast in a British show they are invariably some variation of the Waldorf Salad guy from Faulty Towers.

The voters have made it clear that they like the trashy, vile z listers, no matter where they come from, so bring on the Yanks. Maybe they should cast their net even wider. Vile creatures are all over the planet.
wendywillow
20-01-2016, 03:31 PM
the yanks are polarizing. im an American and Im up and down on them (speidi annoyed the f out of me but I love tiffany) but they always make the show more interesting, why the hell would you not want them there, to make room for more scotty t's? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Without the American's there would be no show, the biggest names come from America.
A CBB without Americans would be like a Mojito without the rum.

I don't get all this "CBB is a British show, so the housemates must all be British celebrities". It's stupid.

Usually I'd say yes.... Their lack of irony and inability to laugh at themselves always makes them dull as f-.ck...i can't stand the volume and the hysteria and the threats of lawyers ...all that sh-t.....but this year my top 3 were all American so i was really surprised....they had humour and were intriguing.....and they were also all over 40..
Too bad the only one remaining is the typical generic basic one....but then she's female reality TV so she's not real anyway
