Remember how you felt when you found out the Punisher was coming to Marvel's Daredevil in Season 2? Remember how you felt when you found out The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal was cast in the role? Well, how would you feel about the news that Netflix is now also developing a spin-off featuring his character? According to TV Line, the series is in the early stages of development at the streaming service. If the series comes to fruition it will be the sixth Marvel series at Netflix, following Daredevil, Jessica Jones, the upcoming Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the Defenders.

This is a dumb question, but would you watch a Punisher-oriented series?

Great news, he was the best part of Season 2 of Daredevil. I loved how he was more than just the hurricane of murder that he's usually portrayed as. I hope they keep his humanity and his heart at the forefront of his character for his spin off.

So his not pure evil?:(

Daredevil's one of the Superhero stories I've never actually watched anything of, but I'm normally interested in his stories and The Punisher has caught my attention as a name.:joker:

Seriously though these producers want to be careful not to Superhero everybody out like they did with Crime stories and Mystery stories like Lost.

IKR, they were so underdeveloped. Elektra was amazing though.

He never was an evil character to begin with, it's just that usually he's presented as nothing more than a killing machine which is a little boring. DD's version of him was the best I've seen.

Oh by the sounds of things I'd agree with you on that if that's the case as I like well developed characters over one dimensional characters just killing people.
