I'm reading the early reviews and it sounds like it's one of the best marvel movies yet.

Watched both "red band" (r-rated) trailers and got really excited for this. It makes me wish all action movies were r-rated by default :joker:.
2016 is going to be a good year for geeking out at the cinema I think. So many films that I'm totes hyped for...

As someone who doesn't like Superhero movies, THIS FILM WAS AMAZING.
My son wants to go see this, but somebody said its not suitable for kids? What age rating is it?

This isn't for kids at all. A lot of F-Bombs, sex and nudity.
Edit: Yup, Rated R for strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity
Ach! That's a shame.. He's been going on about it for ages :(

Yeah I can see a lot of parents complain about it. They should do the research and know that he isn't a kid friendly hero. Marvel took a chance with this film and it worked so damn well. I was crying laughing throughout.

I really wanna see it. I'm concerned though about the whole rated R thing. Is it really gory? Is there any torture type scenes? that's the only thing that bothers me really. Can someone tell me in tags how bad it is?

I didn't find it very gory. It was just some splats here and there but not outrageous. Torture? I guess you can label his origin story as that. It's not like they're cutting things off.
