As a viewer it's been interesting to watch someone with an addiction to food on the tv....I've found it fascinating how careful some people swerve the issue and pretend it's not there....if someone in the house was addicted to crystal meth and had track marks up their arms it would be too alarming to ignore but I guess with food it looks less shocking.
It certainly doesn't make her any more pleasant to watch but maybe some of her appalling behaviour is similar to other addicts....the way she lies, her twisted tick on the world and the way she is so obsessed with getting to her next fix that she leaves a trail of mess and garbage behind her that others have to clean up.
I think people could actually feel sorry for her if she wasn't so mean spirited and unkind....but she is a complete bitch, so instead she just spirals deeper into the hostile world she creates for herself.
